What an amazing resort. Firstly the restaurant has lovely staff that treats you well and is super friendly. The lodge manager was very polite and was willing to help us with accommodation even though we called on the last second late on a saturday night.The game drives are really amazing and you see a whole variety of animals, not to say you could get quite close to some of the big 5 if your lucky.

I had to fight with the staff to get better accommodation. I was nearly locked outside because they said gates closed at 6 pm.Although they managed to give me a room, it was not cleaned.I will never book my accommodation with them in the future.

We spent 8 nights at Shelanti in one of the luxury tents and had an amazing time. The food, the lodging and the personnel were all above expectations. I give Shelanti my highest recommendation.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the manicure. The therapist obviously had no idea how to do nails. I sent a personal complaint via email and they didn't even care enough to respond. Very disappointed. Will not recommend the spa to anyone. They ruined my engagement photos with horribly messed up nails.

The drive to the lodge is dodgy. Plenty pot holes. When we told the game driver he said that most people fly in by helicopter or private planes. They are a game lodge that do a breeding programme. Especially for Buffalo. They have plenty. The main lodge is simply breathtaking. We were fortunate to have the place to ourselves. Brilliant game drive ending up at a viewing area with fabulous views and a great opportunity for photos.
