Landline just rings never get answered, I thought phone line might be a problem so I went to their premises only to be told by someone at the sales desk to rather go to a other solar supplier not to far from them. I would not recommend SIW

I ordered 6 solar panels online as I'm based in Durban. Once payment reflected they called me to say my order was ready for my courier to collect. My experience with Solar & Inverter Warehouse was pleasent and professional. I will be ordering more panels soon.

I called and the lady was rude. Emails were ignored. The same bad attitude and arrogance as noted elsewhere here. They deserve a negative rating.Given that this was before I bought anything. I decided that although their prices were slightly 4% lower than reputable suppliers for an inverter it simply wasn't worth the risk. If you buy a product from them you must not expect any after sales service.Furthermore at this rate this business will not last. There are numerous other providers and more are coming. The barriers to entry for this industry is very low.

This establishment has stooped to a all time low. Gary (THE OWNER) literally took my 20 solar panels that i had paid for over a week ago and TOOK them off the truck and cancelled my order, all because of my 1 star rating. I am only writing this now as I have received my refund. I have bought panels today from VOLTEX Randburg this morning and they delivered them at 16h12 TODAY. PLease be careful dealing with this establishment. You may hurt (THE OWNER) Gary's feelings.My New Rating 0 Stars

I had a pleasant experience with SIWSA today, ordered everything online last week (no hassles there either), thank you for promptly delivering all my Jinko Solar Panels and accessories to Pretoria in a much shorter time than originally given to me, I placed my order last week Thursday, they had over 1000 of those Solar Panels in stock (just on the model I ordered) and plenty of other models, they are all sold out today (4 working days later) so I can imagine how many deliveries had to be done by SIWSA, and I still got my delivery in a very reasonable time, delivered by two professional gentlemen. No complaints and happy with the whole process, thank you.

I think this company does not need new business i tryed calling on a few times asking the receptionist to put me through to the sales staff but NO answer rings and the goes to voice mail. I also sent a email asking the sales staff to pls give me a call ALSO NOTHING. So PLEASE dont waist your time find someone that WANTS to help you.

Very poor after sales service. I purchased an inverter which broke down after a few months. When I sent it to them for the warranty repair, I was pushed from post to pillar being told several different stories of when it would be ready.They are very poor at answering the phone and getting back to you. One time I phoned and spoke to a lady who said she was the bookkeeper. She was rude and showed no understanding of my situation. She later accused my wife who had also spoke to her earlier of swearing at her.They are unprofessional at best and will tell any lies to get out of being accountable. I was initially told it would take 2-3 days for the repair to be completed. Two weeks later when it was not done, they changed posts and said they never said that!A gentleman named Gary/ Gareth?? phoned me after my wife had posted a negative google review and basically told me to never do business with them again!!My inverter is under warranty, so I wonder if by saying that he is personally voiding that warranty!Deal with them at your own risk. I would not recommend at all.Highly unsatisfactory service.

Very poor after sales service. For a start, they NEVER answer the phone! When they do, you get a dispassionate and often rude response on the other end. Sent in a 7.2kw inverter (purchased from them) in for a repair under warranty. It's been 3 weeks and nobody bothers with any feedback. Every time I call, I'm promised that Steve will call me back. Needless to say, he never does!Absolutely shocking customer service.Based on this experience, would not buy from them again.Very disappointing.

Like all the previous reviews of the shocking service and lack of response and support, I totally agree. I left my inverter for repairs on the 9/2021 and was told will cost me 2k for repairs. Tried contacting the owner for feedback on a number of occasions and can't get a response after more than a year

I would not even give them 1 star unfortunatelythat option does not exist. Customer service sucks pretty much in line with government. I send a mail for a quote, no repsonse phoned 3 times and left my no. No one is intrested to get back to me. Guess the demand is just so much they cant careless about customer service. Luckily there are quite abit of conpanies now selling the same stuff with actual custeromer service. Do not use them see other comments aswell.
