My least favorite dischem in the area. The makeup department is often rude and very unhelpful. Even when you ask for help they give very little assistance and are curt. Many times I've just left and gone to clicks or another. The pricing and product availability is good, but the staff really let's the dischem brand down overall. The best people there are the security guards at the door.

A very good shopping experience. The pharmacy is very neat. The racks are packed very neetly and colorful that makes shopping for the customer very easy and enjoyable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are always around to assist where it is needed. The clinic is very well organised and the two sisters very friendly and efficiant. The dispenciry is also very neat and well organised. A very relaxing atmosphere and pleasant shopping experience. Everything under one roof.

The pharmacist typed up the incorrect dosage on the label. Could, have been fatal if I hadn't contacted the Dr when after 2 days the medication wasn't working.

The pharmacy has the most rudest workers!!!! The dispensary was EMPTY but I was asked to go to self medication.. the lady at self medication was so rude and clearly and understanding!! How can she put my baby medications under my profile obviously medical aid will not pay.. when trying to explain she got aggressive.. will never visit them again

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against your staff memberNURSE Rene.Myself and my daughters attended the Clinic on Friday morning10am to have my grand daughter vaccinated.Your staff employee was completely unprofessional and rude to my daughter and in fact shouted at my daughter regarding the fact thatmy grand daughter received a vaccination previous insteadof providing professional assistance and guidance she choseto get rude and shout.This is completely unacceptable and should not be condoned.Regards,Mrs Leisher

The worst customer service ever.. Got assisted by a cashier called Silungile, when trying to redeem my points , the points went off my Dis-Chem loyal card, but their system didn’t show that it was redeemed! Called a lady called Bongi at customer service! She came, took my card number! Silungile clearly said she can’t let me go as she will be short of R10 when the day ends and I must wait! I waited 30 min and went to the customer service lady, she looked away! Went back and waited a further 15 minutes till I went with Silungile to the customer service! No one resolved my query! I left with the money off my loyalty card without what I had bought!

Absolute appalling treatment by security and staff. A mistake made by a tired woman with her baby resulted in malicious arrest and prosecution. Complete waste of tax payer money. Court and prosecutors found this rediculous. Beware of making a simple mistake, you will be prosecuted in this store.

Vindictive security will arrest a mother with her baby who clearly made a mistake just to fill a quota, rather than catching actual criminals. This wastes police and court time and Dischem management don't care. I'm definitely not coming back to this store and will likely avoid Dischem totally from now on.

The security at Dischem New Market got a tired mother with a newly born baby arrested when she accidentally missed some items at the tillpoint that she had to pay for, the mother was kept in jail, when we researched how such serious penalties could occure for such a mild accusation we found out the security at Dischem has quotas to find criminals, if they don't the Dischem headoffice will give the security company's contract somewhere else. Seems like the Dischem franchise is the Soviet union now and their security the KGB. I wonder for how long Dischem wants to stay in business with an attitude like this.
