Shelly Beach Hospital

I was admitted and discharged outstanding results from a test that was done. I was suppose to be called when they received the results. This was back on the first week of May. I did call in for feedback and was promised a call back from the medical ward by the nurse I spoke to. I still haven’t received feedback on my results or any update whatsoever.

The hospital is clean and friendly staff, but Gebs labs made me wait over 2 weeks for results that should have taken at most 24hrs, putting all my other Dr appointments behind and losing my authorisation number from medical aid to see my Specialist so now I have to re apply again at my medical aid for authorisation, they have put my health resolution behind with a lot of time!!

I was in Maternity for three days and I Have to say for a first timer being a mom and having a hospital experience I am very pleased to thank the whole Maternity ward, the Sisters and Midwives that took care of me I felt like I was out of this world. A huge thank you to the team the experience was not only pleasant but also felt very comforting with their help and service. I am utterly grateful for taking care of my bundle of joy, myself and my partner. What a great experience, if I could name all of the staff I would.Im glad I chose Shelly Beach Hospital . I'll choose it again

I love the tlc I got from the staff. This is a wonderful establishment, very clean, spacious and quiet.butthe cherry on top is the friendly staff ever ready to assist. Thank you to all who nursed me from day one. I gave birth to my little one 05 jan2023. Thank you to all.

Was admitted at Shelly Beach Hospital.Went in for a Laparoscopy , and stomach was emptied .I came out of surgery and was'nt given my drup , nor did they give me my medicine prescribed .Two days later I laid a complain , but have'nt heard anything.

We are forever grateful that Sister Phiwe Nombika & Dr Mabika had looked after my grandfather at Shelly Beach Hospital Cardiac department the professionalism we had experienced from them had brown us away! We had been to all the major private hospitals along the South Coast and these staff members had made our experience truly world class. The Sister did everything in her power to ensure my grandfather is comfortable and catered to all his needs without any hesitation. We truly feel as a family that we are forever in dept and would like to see that sister Phiwe is acknowledged for her excellent work and great heart. She is truly one of the biggest asset this hospital has. We would also like to acknowledge all the other sisters in the Cardiac ICU word as they had collectively really impressed us.Dr Mabika is a true hero, his knowledge and ability to communicate to his patents and there family had been a great blessing and we feel that hero`s like him should get more recognition. My grandfather is in good health and at home today because of his excellence.We are forever grateful.

As a tourist this is one of the best hospitals we have visited, being on vacation. The service is kind from the receptionist to the doctor. We are always helped immediately and always aided effectively. My favorite sister is the nurse Lungile Dlamini, she is very kind and makes us laugh even when we are feeling stressed and sick. Would visit this hospital in a time of sickness again.

Took my son to the emergency room of Shelley Beach Hosiptal after midnight, and they started treating him before the paperwork was even done. The staff are highly qualified, efficient, friendly and caring. The Doctor arrived within minutes and he was equally friendly, caring and efficient. The treatment my son received for vomiting and diarrhoea worked quickly and he was discharged within 2 hours of arrival. I highly recommend everyone to go to this hospital.

Thanks to Nurse Sele at emergencies who attended to my son on Friday 06/01/2023. The treatment he received in 4 hours was much more and so much better than the treatment he has received in 4 days at Netcare Margate hospital.I will gladly recommend Shelly Beach Hospital to anyone
