Myself and Dougy Fivaz started the club 34 years ago, Doug left the club in 1992 to concentrate on the security part of the dog club and named it Cape Province Security. We started the first puppy classes in South Africa 30 years ago for 8 week olds and have never looked back. We run puppy classes, beginners classes, advanced classes, competition classes as well as Agility and jumping.

Had a lovely experience learning how to train my dog and my son with his dog. We have trained two dogs through this school. One dog went through obedience training and the other behaviour management. In both cases instructors were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! They teach owners a combination of reward and correction training skills.

Currently training our baby. This place is very good. Trainers are well educated in all breeds and can help in many areas. They operate rain, hail or shine. There's a small shop on-site selling all things doggy related.Classes run on a Saturday and times vary based on the age of your pooch. And what you're signed up to.Location is Pinelands School, on the school field.

I highly recommend the Cape Province Dog Club. It's a safe place to bring your new puppy from 8 weeks onwards for socialisation and training, or your older dog for behaviour management and obedience training. They don't train your dog for you, they help you learn how to train and bond with your own dog and equip you with everything you need to form the best possible bond with your pup. We've hugely benefited from all the time spent training our first dog and are loving starting from the beginning again with our new puppy. Thanks to Julie and all the trainers for creating such a positive and encouraging atmosphere that we simply love to come.
