Easy to find, upstairs of Romans Pizza, door is outside on the left of the building, there was parking available. I booked a week in advance for their October special of 2 treatments for R200 for my partner and myself. I had two follow up calls to confirm my booking. The ladies are friendly and professional. Treatments were 2 back massages, gel nails and a pedi respectively. My partner raved non stop about his pedi and I love my nails done by Nelly. Gloria gives a really good back massage. I will definitely be back for a fully body. The ladies toilet was clean and neat, I think the owner should replace the toilet seat, other than that I have to say I highly recommend The Beauty Bar, they are reasonably priced and give great service.

You guys never pick up your phone when I call to book. You should just close your communication platforms.What's the point of having a cellphone and not pick up when a customer calls or text. You never respond to your whatsapp messages, but you have a whatsapp line.It's always a mission to get through to you. Everytime I get through, you always make the excuse that you were busy. Too busy to answer your cellphones for potential business?. Poor communication service.I wouldnt recommend this place anymore.Thanks

I am never disappointed when im at The Beauty Bar, i always get an appointment, i always go for waxing, nails hands and toes, the nail tech Phindile is so skilled at her job and has so much passion for it she never seezes to amaze me, i once went with a pic of the nails i wanted to do then while she was busy i changed my mind and wanted something different, i apologized for the nuisance as i know it takes up time from the next client, but with a smile she said its ohk n did what i asked and girl understood the assignment. I always walk out feeling great. The service is so great, professional staff that are always smiling. Ill be trying out other treatments soon, the massages and facials and looking forward to it.

I was there today and I must say the service wasn't up to standard. Firstly if customers book for 12 noon, the room should be ready and set-up. The tiny room I was in was very cold, air-conditioning I had to ask the lady to sort the Aircon out as I was feeling cold. How do you expect someone to enjoy a massage in a cold room? Secondly, I asked the lady for a medium pressure massage, this was not it! Even my daughter can do a better job with the massage. It felt like I paid to have oil all over me. She also used too much oil, I was soaking in it. I'm not sure if she is a qualified masseuse as her pressure techniques were more like a freestyle rub. I have been to a few spa's never have I received such a poor quality massage. Thirdly the music playing during the massage was horrible and loud, I mean can't you guys play a rain/flute melody softly? I will not recommend this place to anyone.EDITED AFTER REPLY: Your therapist is lying, I was never on my phone the entire time. I put my phone aside before we started and took my phone when she was done. She can stop with the lies. Also regardless of what you say, this was my absolute honest experience whether you like it or not. Also fix your squeaking bed in the other room and your unsteady chairs in the reception area. Bad reviews are an opportunity to rectify and grow regardless of whether you have been in business for 1000 years" or not. I'm definitely not coming back and I know my cash won't make any difference to your incoming cash. Perhaps as a manager/owner you need to be receptive to feedback. I see you would rather I cause a scene than writing a review. The music was too loud and not relaxing at all

When I called in to make an appointment, I asked what acrylic and gel products this place used. They told me they used Lola Lee gel and planet nails products. However, their acrylic is from China mall and has several different pigments in one colour and I've never seen the brand of gel they use. The method of acrylic application is so wrong and they don't even use bond or primer on your nail before they build the acrylic. The acrylic is chipping away from my nail and it's only been 3 days.

Love the value for money specials. Great friendly service. My go to place for all beauty needs.
