Heat King - Heating Specialists

Poor service and poor quality products. My unit has been faulty for 8 months and no accountability has been taken by Heat King to sort out the problem. Think twice before you request their services or buy any of their products.

Very pleased with the installation of the gas fireplace. The guys did a very neat job with the installation. The customer service was good as well.

Dawie came out to me on the 1st of June. Nice guy. Since then all communication stopped. He saw my messages but never answered me. Kerry-Anne promised he'd phone me, he never did. They sent a quote for the wrong things on the 12th. I ended up switching to The Gas Men SA who came out that same day on the 12th, quoted correctly that night, and they got their payment the same night. Heat King have lost out on a R72k sale because, in my opinion, the brand has gotten away from the staff. There's obviously way too much work for them to concentrate. I'd like to think this is a once off but the rest of the reviews are quite telling.Dawie phoned me today (13th) to at least apologise. Explained about sales people being sick, the workload, etc...Honestly I'm tired of chasing people for weeks on end waving my money at them. I'm glad that Tim from the Gas Men will have finished the job in half the time it took for Heat King to quote me wrong.

Super service and good prices, plus they had exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended.

Empty promises, unwelcoming staff, don't have stock of critical items and make you pay upfront for a service and don't even do a proper job - still waiting for a quote from 3 weeks ago. My gas stove shorted this morning and was smoking from the knob they supposedly fixed.

Terrible service. Have my beckers heater since 2021 June.No communication. No interest. Never use them ever. Called now to get my unit back.

They came to our house to inspect it and then left, but they brought the wrong parts. And they left it untouched for two weeks. Despite several attempts to contact them by phone, they were unhelpful and rude.

Two weeks later after a gas geyser installation and we still have no COC ,been given excuse after excuse . Now we are told that their COC person needs to renew his accreditation. This is after they ask 100% payment before installation and happily install the gas geyser knowing we wont be able to get the COC certificate right after installation .We requested the manager to phone us ,no phone call .We were going to install 2 more gas geysers but will definitely not be using Heat King .Update :COC has been received

Horrible service , They kept messing me around, Asked for full payment and still could not tell me when they will come and install. Evelyn was no help at all, Laughed when i asked for a refund saying they don't do that. Wanted to speak to some else but they were all apparently in a meeting and it was just her, That was when she eventually stopped avoiding me, . Still currently waiting on some sort of communication
