I was renting at this property for nine months and left the premises on 31 March 2023. Today it is 2 May 2023 I am still waiting for my rental deposit. After numerous messages to Clinton the owner he indicated that the refund will be done on 29 April 2023. But all in vain. I sent him an email and whatapp message but simply chooses not to respond on when the refund will be done.I tried to contact him telephonically this morning and he say that he is in a meeting. Even last week he did not take any of my phone indicating via a whatsapp message that he is in a meeting. Surely a good business person would have somoene to assist when he is is busy with other things.Clearly the reputation of the business is not on his priority list

Hosted our wedding.Staff was friendly and helpful.Pricing for the hiring of the hall and catering was excellent. Was not too happy with the catering as some of my requests where not taken in.The pricing for the hotel room was a lot for what they afford. No matches, no batteries for tv remote and the room was rather creaky.

Really had the wool pulled over our eyes on this one, when you go to a reputable site like bookings. Com and they rate it 5star you sort of have some expectations. We booked an apartment for 3 people and we're put into a room with a double bed and a single bed in it. Dilapidated chairs, broken cupboards, no toilet paper, only two towels, two cups and saucers, no bath or shower gel and shampoo, ricoffee sachets.... Shocking. Have to drive to the other end of the block for breakfast. All shocking!!!! Please avoid!

This hotel is amazing. The staff are friendly and always eager to help. The place is beautiful and well decorated. It is situated near the university and all of the student life that comes with the university. Most of the embassies are easily accessible from this hotel, this means there are many international people staying here. Definitely great value for money.

We had a self catering unit: no cutlery, no table and chairs, coffe not replenished, very noisy, light from outside shining into room making impossible to sleep as the room is light. Rooms very small. Photos on website not true reflection of room sizes. Breakfast was good but chaos in kitchen as serving area is in kitchen. Clearly poor management, salt a d pepper pots dirty etc

Please dont waste your money. My 13 year old son asked if we could rather sleep in our car than sleep in the hotel room. It is almost laughable the experience we had, the staff are rough and unhelpful, except for the 1 gentleman who did the cooking. The sheet did not fit on the bed, so there was mattress sticking out, i slept with my jacket around my pillow because i was nervous of the cleanliness of the pillows. Its such a pity as it is obvious that someone once had a beautiful dream for the hotel, but right now it is unloved and not maintained and it is very obvious that whoever owns it has little to no interest in the place running like a hotel....

Our ground floor room and bathroom was infested with cockroaches. We bought bug spray and fumigated the room ourselves. The kitchen area is dark and dingy and would certainly not pass any Health and Safety protocols. When we wanted to leave a day early, we were told we would not be refunded for the 1 day we were leaving early. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Staff are friendly and rooms are huge. Parking is a nightmare though. Conference attendees are prioritised over hotel guests so you may find yourself (frequently) needing to park outside where there is no security. I was parked in and discovered this when I needed to leave at 5am for a flight. I only just made it to the airport in time and were it not for the chef who ran around to find the guest I would have missed my flight. There are no marked parking bays so I imagine I am not the first person this happened to. Food is also overpriced for what it is - I would recommend eating lunch and dinner elsewhere - except for the breakfast which is great!

The place is run down.We stayed there and were happy to leave the next day!It was the most filthy hotel we stayed in while in SA.They sell themself as 5 star - what a big joke....All the room was very dirty, there was hair and brown marks on the damaged linen.Have a look at the photos, the toilet did not invite to sit on it...And also see the chair, i was not willing to sit on it!
