Experienced a red engine light on our Discovery 4 while driving from Maputo to Nelspruit. Booked the vehicle into the LR dealer and was met with the usual service and enthusiasm.Decided to contact Lowveld Landy - Alan was immediately on it. He dropped everything to take the vehicle on a test drive and plug in the diagnostics. Went out of his way to explain the fault and work required. Great team and professional service. We will use again.Update:2 more interactions with the Allen, Nadine and the team. LL really go the extra mile and are focused on saving the clients money. Will recommend again.

My wife's Discovery 4 was due for an annual service, It was a major service warranting the car to be there for two days. We received the car on time and the car was nice and clean. The greatest part is they are affordable.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff

First impression was friendly and Alan surely is a competent car analyst. BUT unfortunately his workers don't know how to do a proper job and it's seriously lacking on quality control.I was warned from a local friend by a story, where his car came back with a failure, but Aland won't take the responsibility of it. Despite that, i had my Landy checked in for quite a few problems and hoped it could be fixed before a big trip off the beaten tracks. After ten days and costs from more than ZAR 42'000 i was happy to start my journey. Off the workshop i noticed they forgot to reconnect the odometer, what i still considered as a small issue. As well the issues to find a molten relay which caused me electrical issues and made me turn back to garage three times till they find the failure.The story got really bad, when it turned out, that the reassembled transfer box was leaking again. Of course Alan denied all responsibility and ensured me, they have best workmanship and using only best sealing. But another mechanic confirmed there was to less sealing paste, what caused the leaking. After that, Lowveld Landy Service got silence. No comment, no apologize.And this was not even the end of story. Bolts, even marked, wasn't tighten at all, after they replaced the hose of steering box, the box itself was leaking (what wasn't before) and so on...I swallowed my anger and paying another bill on another, better workshop to fix all the issues caused by Lowveld Landy Service. BUT as i got a message from other people, telling me exact the same problems with Lowveld Landy Service and observed how bad the workers doing their job there, even they stand next to them, i feel i must warn other people from this irresponsible workshop!

I highly recommend Allen and his team. They are very professional and kept me informed all the time during the major repairs to my Landy. Well done Allen and your team it was a pleasure doing business with you.See you in the near futureMerle Bucknall
