Beautiful destination. Fauna and Flora is incredible. Serene, calm, and magnificent. Perfect Sunsets and Sunrise, and at night, one can see every star in the sky. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Drving to the destination via this gravel road is about 40mins and it can bevrough on your vehicle, y0ull definitely need a 4x4 or similar.. They do grade the road regularly, which is awesome. The place once there is really nice. But you'll l need to do all your shopping in Swelledam. Overall a good place to enter the river if you dont want to go to witsand and want it more quieter area.

Wine tasting, fishing, mtb, everything thing to keep the family busy. Vreedehoek guest cotages are truly amazing - family orientated. Monks gin tasting is one of a kind especially if you catch the owner Coenie there!!

Lovely Robertson and surrounds. Wonderful wine farms. The bree river is full again.
