Dorp Hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dorp. The rooms, the restaurant and the terrace are all beautifully decorated and have such a great vibe. The interiors are amazing! The staff were all so hospitable and really friendly. They were also incredibly helpful. There is security watching the car park which was also really helpful. The area is very cool and has a lot of character with all of the colourful houses. It was an easy walk to the v&a and a quick drive to lions head trail head. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel with its incredible bedrooms and heaps of character.

A hidden gem in Cape Town, amazing decor, stuff and atmosphere. Food in the restaurant is remarkable too. The view to the table mounting is unbelievable. If you don’t mind taking Uber/Car to beach area along your stay, this would be the perfect place to stay in Cape Town. My only complaint is that we are still waiting for a refund from them (we changed to a smaller room) and it’s been taking quite a while, will update this review once it’s done. Update: refund has been processed.

We stayed for one night at the Dorp and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and super kind, especially in helping us when we wanted to go for a walk...even walking with us to the start of our walk. The room was fabulous and the views stunning. Breakfast was delicious and a really good selection. Really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this hotel. Thank you again, we look forward to coming back.

Gorgeous place, beautiful rooms surrounded by lovley gardens, very romantic, luxurious in a cool way, situated above the city up the hill but near everything, easy to get around. Most special, lovely hotel with tones of charm. The staff was amazing! So nice and professional, ready to help and attend to any need. We especially would like to mention and thank Mani from the reception (solved our problem with such a great way and manner), Hussein the concierge and Reggie from the restaurant who made sure we had an amazing night with delicious food and wonderful views in a fairy tale surroundings. The whole stay was as we were in a beautiful dream!

Unique stay in Cape Town City.Clean comfortable rooms, great staff & great restaurant. The grounds are amazing with interesting finds in each corner.

What to say about this boutique Hotel. Outstanding! There was never a hotel in the world we felt so well cared for. You feel that all of the stuff live the spirit to makes the guest happy. We booked the Dorp Suite which was all over perfect and individually furnished. The views to table mountain are unique. What a marvellous secret to find at the top of Bo-Kaap. We enjoyed a leisurely tea and sandwich,no pressure to move, no pressure to order more. Keep an eye out for the bell if you are there just before noon. Also a splendid rooftop terrace where you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of Cape Town and Table Mountain.

Amazing, AMAZING hotel in Bo-kaap! We stayed here on our last night in Cape Town and so wished we had stayed longer! The interior felt very Poirotesque! The views are just stunning and the staff super friendly and helpful. Dream hotel! Could not have asked for better.
