Dis-Chem Pharmacy Dainfern - Fourways

Long queues. A lady came in with an emergency around an epipen with very nonchalant service. I received 4 bottles of medicine for my 5 year old. Opened it at home, and not one medicine spoon, labels missing from bottles etc. Phoned them, got cut off, then phoned back. Still wait f for a response. Not sure how I'm supposed to give medicine without a medicine spoon.. Grrr!

Pathetic service. 3 months in a row they have missed the Pack my meds promised delivery date. Phoned store 4 times and each time the phone rings and then goes dead. 5th time I forced them to carry the phone to the manager and his excuse is that they can't fulfil the orders on time because they have a backlog. If you can't deliver medication on time either close down the pack my meds service or phone me back and tell me about the delay. I have an SMS promising delivery 15/07/20 and at 16.43 still no delivery and the driver has gone for the day. Absolutely disgusting service and how can a pharmacy phone just cut off if no-one answers. I left a message over a week ago for something else and I am still waiting for the call to be returned.

At the cashier at Dischem Dainfern / Chartwell Corner is a creepy man standing asking women to help him pay for his goods. He was watching me for a few minutes whilst I was still in the queue. When I got to the cashier to pay for my items he asked me to help him pay for his goods. He made me VERY UNCOMFORTABLE because of the way he way EYEING ME.I ignored him. When it was time for me to tap my card and insert my bank pin, he KEPT LOOKING AT WHAT I WAS DOING (standing right next to me)!!!The worst is the CASHIER HEARD THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION and did or said NOTHING!!!!Very uncomfortable!

I got handed over to 6 people who had no clue about a product that they actually stock. The lady in cosmetics then asked me to move around cause of network problems but the phone was working just fine when they kept handing me over from supervisor to manager to dispensary. Useless bunch of people!!!!. I've never seen this in my life. How can staff members that work on the floor not have a clue about the products stocked in store???.

They mess up our medicine dispensing regularly, costing us lots of money. Our daughter has chronic asthma, and her dr gave us a script for medication to keep at home for an emergency. The medication was only valid for 2 months and by the time I needed it, it was expired. We picked up the meds in Sep 2021, and it expired Nov 2021. We didn't notice the expiry date until we needed to use the meds now in Feb 2022 - meds should be valid for 12 months when collecting them.Then they also gave us an accu-inhaler for our daughter when the script clearly said METERED DOSE. On top of this they took our repeat scripts, promised to load it, and never did so when I went to collect the monthly meds, they told me there was no script loaded and I couldn't get our meds!

A reasonably short queue at the dispensary section takes almost 40 minutes.

Poor service from Dispensary. No regard and do not admit when they are at fault.

Disappointing, distasteful experience. Staff, including managers, are too oblivious to greet customers, the few staff that are helpful are in great demand and difficult to get meaningful assistance from, que at the pharmacy is long (people generally require medicine with some degree of urgency). Today I totally inconvenienced several staff in trying to exchange a defective Dischem-brand product, which is why I will avoid it altogether. On several occasions a supervisor/manager has proven severely unfriendly and unhelpful and so it is no wonder why the rest of the team has poor customer service skills.
