Here is an email from a candidate's SECOND attempt to get his fingerprints done. Pretty much says it all:Please note i just got back from the fingerprints but the guy was on his personal phone the whole time I was there and he was the only person who could help and my time I took off from work ran out.Please advise if i can look for my own fingerprints place as these ones are not professional.

Awful awful service! I made 5 requests to verify my employment history. Two weeks later, only one request has been completed. Two requests are still being worked on, and nothing has been done on the other two (I know this because I haven't received any notifications from the system regarding emails sent to the referees). Multiple phone calls to the helpline haven't helped much.

Got a 6 star service on a call by a guy who identified himself as Thapelo. He is very professional. I was impressed

Worst service received today. The Call Centre agents are completely incompetent, cannot resolve the most basic queries and customer service is poor.

I rarely rate a company low, but MIE leaves me no choice. I own a Recruitment company and regularly conduct criminal checks through MIE. Of late, in the last 4 or 5 months, we have had endless problems when crim checks are required to be done in the Western Cape.Firstly, our candidates are no longer contacted to set up their appointment. We have to follow up with the call center as to when a crim check will be arrange. Now I've been told that if MIE can't contact a candidate within 7 days, the invoice that I paid for is removed from the system. Without even notifying me? And not to mention that 7 days isn't 7 working days, as if MIE works on Saturdays and Sundays?MIE chose to remove a crim check request less than 6 days from invoicing me declaring they couldn't reach my candidate.And no manager has the audacity to call me and resolve the issue. Only emails go back and forth with zero resolution.

Our company used their services since 2007, and their has been a great decline in the quality of service for the past 5 years... Can't reach them telephonically... They are afraid to talk to clients... Just expect you to send mails and hope your issues get resolved in 6 mails over 2 weeks.... Hope Lexis Nexis is better cause that will be my next stop... Any other suggestions? Mie is just one big frustration now!
