Rhinoman Aluminium Canopies
My canopy is well engineered and nicely built. Ordering was a hassle because I only got the order form (the paperwork") that lists all the options after the quotation. It answered all the questions I had about available options and I would have preferred to get it right away. Those canopies are quite a bit wider than the bakkie's bed. They managed to misalign the canopy to the maximum

Ordered a dark grey canopy, after waiting 4 weeks a white canopy got delivered to fitment center. Then a week later a black canopy gets delivered and installed! Still not sure where the Dark grey one is?? Great canopy, just can’t get my color!

The sales team are shocking, after contacting them numerous times for a quote, I eventually resorted to posting on social media in the comments section to get any response. I then got a quote, replied with some queries and those were met with silence too. About a month later I got an email replying to my original 1st request for a quote through their website, with the exact same quote again. Absolutely shocking service. I took my business elsewhere to a company that actually replies to their customers. Clearly Rhinoman didn’t need another.

The canopy is leaking, bad! Ruined my custom fit bakkie mattress. I travel a lot and now getting my money back or getting a retrofit accessory to stop the leaking is an absolute pain. You should not require any retrofitted solutions to a 25k canopy!

Even though Sheergear is one of Rhinoman's dealers we would just like to thank Jeffrey for his efforts again. This morning one of our clients was very early for his fitment, Jeffrey took it in his stride and made a plan. Rhino in rosslyn fitted 4x canopies within 2 hours. VW Amarok Canopy leaks, so in essence not weather resistant. Defeats the purpose of fitting a canopy in the first place. Rhinoman offers sponge as a solution. Not a viable solution for R28k canopy. We were not notified upfront either. Extremely disappointed in this product.

Went to pick up a utility tray and asked for advice regarding the rear door lip causing contact related paint damage to the canopy when in the closed position. The problem was quickly identified as inaccurate assembly by the entity used by the car dealership to facilitate colour coding of the canopy. I was impressed with the interest shown by all, including the owner, to understand the issue. The assembly was corrected in a jiffy, the tray was fitted for me, and I left with a scouring pad and touch up paint to finish the repair of the paint damage that was already started as they fixed the assembly. Great experience.

They used to have a solid product range, but I bought a new rhinoman xpedition canopy a month ago, taildoor glass just falls out, got a new taildoor from them, and now the front glass of the canopy has come loose, the bakkie has only seen tar road, and their product could not even handle the minor bumps and humps city life has to offer, the xpedition canopy is a total waste of money, returning it to the fitment centre I bought it from ASAP, I am honestly too afraid to drive a Namibian gravel road with that canopy, it would not last 50km on gravel

While the quality of products is very good. The lead time even just for spares is minimum of 3 weeks which has caused me to not purchase some items.It’s a pity they don’t keep any stock.
