Incredible gem. But lack of management and enthusiasm, which is sad, because it’s such a beautiful place.Take your own new R5 coins if you want to do washing, as they don’t keep any and the machines are privately owned.

We enjoyed our stay and the lady at reception was very friendly and help. We were staying in a forest hut. We were actually looking to go camping but unfortunately the website we had a look at stated there were no power point. When we got there we saw that there actually was power points. One of the workers told us that it was added about a year ago. Fortunately now next time we'll know that it is available. Look out for ythe baboons who also would like to come visit you and help themselves to some food. If you enjoy animals they will put a smile on your face or you may be annoyed. Very relaxing hiking trails. If you just need to get your batteries charged go enjoy nature, the river and see all in walking distance.

I have been camping at Nature’s Valley for almost 3 and a half decades it is an amazing campsite the staff is professional and extremely friendly. It feels like home… It is a family friendly campsite with a lot of activities for the young ones (Over December holidays)… One caution to mention though is the baboons and monkeys they lost all fear for humans and therefore can be quite intimidating to children and even adult ladies….Still I WILL RECOMMEND THIS SPOT TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE EVERY TIME!!! Best spot for December holidays by far.

Enjoyed our stay here, rooms are cosy and warm. Only downside is the toilets and showers were a considerable distance from our room and it was raining so had to walk in mud to go take a shower. But if you like camping and roughing it this is definitely a must visit. The surrounding beaches is pristine.

Beautiful location, we booked cabin 12 which was on the lagoon (lagoon view). Cabin was spacious but in need of an upgrade and requires more kitchen essentials (scissors, tin opener). Baboons are an issue so lock your doors when not in use. They do hire out kayaks but when we were there they were not available as they are due for a service. Perhaps they will be ready for the December rush. Beautiful walking / hiking trails nearby.

Absolutely stunning. Loved the camping area and stand are perfecly sized with a braai area and a nice big table. Monkeys are a bit of a problem, but that is part of nature. Nice hiking trails as well. Thank you so much for this beautiful little heaven on earth! We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a forest hut for 5 days. It was simple, but very comfortable. We brought along much of our own camping/cooking stuff which turned out to be very helpful. Set in such a relaxing environment with an abundance of forest trees, shade and birds. Everything was clean and checking in was easy. The ablutions were great - clean and a great, hot shower! Many beautiful walks and hikes to do and, of course, the beach and lagoon are a stones throw from the camp site. A great place for kids to explore and play, ride bikes, swim and make friends. An overall fantastic experience. We could easily have stayed longer! We're looking forward to returning as soon as we can :)

A fantastic campsite in the coastal forest. Close to the village but feels remote and isolated.

No obvious signs indicating the campsite name. Close to the road, hearing cars speeding past every now and then. Sites are close to each other. Apart from that we received extremely friendly service at reception and enjoyed the experience of camping underneath big trees. Amenities are decent and rangers patrol the area in the evening. No sites close to the river - only cabins. Budget for the toll fee on the N2 when coming from Port Elizabeth's side.
