Mateman Funeral Parlour

I would personally not recommend Mateman Funeral Parlour to anyone as I am running around and calling all numbers given to me.We buried my dad in December 2017 still calling them for a grave number, and his name plate still sitting in their offices in the Ennerdale branch. All of the people that's been helping me never gets anything done they all keep giving me contact numbers to call but no answers.

The worst funeral parlour! Make you do everything yourself, not helpful at all. Printed pamphlets with incorrect information after we told them that we do not want like that. Put a poem in there that is not even relevant. They still went ahead and printed their own nonsense. They're rude and unsympathetic. Useless I tell you. I do not recommend Mateman Funeral Parlour!!!!!

Worse undertakers ever. If you respect or loved the deceased, then stay away. They make you stand in lines at home affairs for death certificates and deal with the cemetery on your own yet they charge you for those services rendered as their licenses have been scrapped.On the day of the funeral they show up 40 minutes late at the house and 30 minutes late to transport the body from the church to the graveyard. At the cemetery, the hearse did not know where the grave was and drove around searching for it with the procession behind him. After the burial, they did not even put up a grave marker.Very impersonal when dealing with the bereaved family and provide a horrible service during a tough time. Zero stars if possible.
