Attended the Lash Bash this past Saturday at Radisson Red! It was an amazing experience. The view, food, and Qaanita was brilliant. I love my lashes :) :)

I must admit I was really dissapointed with the latest onqworkshop0319, based on her social media and previous workshops I expected so much more for R1200.It felt like the day was a sales pitch, we had to bring all of our own make up and brushes, which wasn’t a problem however the goodie bag we got was filled with samples.Her makeup tips are amazing and she is super creative however R1200 was definitely not worth it.“Breakfast” was a very very small savory muffin, “lunch”was a flap jack, a fritter a small wrap and small saugsage on a stick.She said prizes would be given away and only two was.In the goodie bag we got:Tiny sample size creamsA head bandA makeup bagEye linerIf you check out her highlights on social media you will see at her previous events she gave away soooooo much cooler stuff, this is why my friend and I bought tickets, We based it off her previous event where she gave away loads of goodiesI attended an Elisabeth Arden event and we got full products, we didn’t have to bring any because they knew some people would have nothing. This is what I expected at the onq event.Not everyone owns makeup,that’s why we go to these events to learn about make up and to get a starter on makeupDuring the event all we kept hearing was benefit this and benefit that, show me your mascara I’m throwing it away and your getting new ones today (that you have to buy)Let’s be clear OnQ does amazing makeup and she’s great at what she does. I learnt a lot. I just feel that it was way over price when I attended the Arden event I paid R500 got more food and walked out with a bag filled with all the makeup I used and brushes.So before you buy your very expensive ticket, I’d say do your research first.We all want value for money

Very dissatisfied with the Service. Booked for my daughters Matric Farewell, well in advance. Took her for trial Makeup. On the day makeup artist was an hour late and I was asked what do you have in mind for makeup. What was the trial then for? Try calling on the day to ask where the makeup artist is No answer! Half hour later get a message she will be there in half hour. Panicking mom and panicking daughter. Then get told by makeup artist I had to squeeze you in and was told to be here by 4. Photographer Car and all guests where there and No Daughter ready. What was supposed to be an amazing day turned out stressful. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Facebook and Instagram all amazing. But sadly the day wasn’t what I wanted it to be for my Daughter.

I would not recommend ONQ. I made my booking way in advance for my wedding day. I was due for my make up trial on a Saturday at 14:00, on my way to her she cancels on me due to she was still at an event. I was upset because she doesn’t stay the closest to me. I was then booked the following week to attend my trial, while she’s busy with my make up & just before I left I confirmed my dates & time & she said everything is good she will be there. So I booked her for my nikka & reception. For my nikka she was early not a problem, before she left I asked her if she’s going to stay she said no she’ll see me later , my brunch was at 11, I specifically said 10:30 I want to stay my next look. 10:30 she never arrived for my second look. My family & I were calling & calling sending her messages she doesn’t respond at all! & keep in mind I paid for I wanted & never received. She then responds later only to say they “double booked her” when I especially said to her the morning when she was doing my make up for the nikka I’ll see you later. So please if you booking her make sure this doesn’t happen to you especially on your wedding day!

Amazing experience at the recent Lash Bash event, Love my new lashes!!Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a makeup artist for any event!!

Lovely person to work with! I would recommend the one-on-one make up class to anyone. I received advice on products, do's and don'ts. It's so much fun!
