This is a beautiful hidden gem in the valley! Road there was a bit rough with potholes but it won't keep us from going back!

We camped in tents for two nights. It was hot during the day and cold at night. No power, but ablution facilities were adequate. Beautiful area with a lot of offroad trails to choose from. My friends caught a couple of bass in the dam. I will definitely be back.

Fabulous setting, rustic cottages made for a peaceful and enjoyable 2 nights - just a pity the experience was marred by lights that kept on failing (old Battery), no hot water (2 torch batteries were flat at geyser) and finally no cooking or fridge facility (Gas had run out)

If you like quite and very little to do after a rough couple of months this place ticks all the blocks and even includes scenic views. Their stone cottages are quaint with the only let down being the beds. They are extremely firm and uncomfortable but not unbearable either. Would have like to have seen, a bit of luxury and comfort in the rooms. Each unit has solar installed which was a plus point.

Ribbokkloof is a lovely little gem. This is an ideal place to regroup and relax.With almost no cellphone service, it gives a great opportunity for a no tech" weekend.It has a very scenic and well marked hike route. Would suggest some markings on how far each route will be.The staff is very friendly and helpful.The only downside would be the VERY FIRM mattress."

Did the 2 hiking routes, and very impressed with markings of the trails, views and cleanliness of the facilities.Will revisit in the future. Highly recommended.

A stunning setting. Chalets are lovely. Be prepared for an electricity free getaway. Leave your worries and just relax. Spend some time on the dam or hiking. Lots of birds and pure natural quiet entertainment.Staff are helpful and willing to accommodate your needs. Highly recommend this place.

Stunning setting but the chalet is too rustic for my liking. Was a great experience though. It works for a boys trip.
