I lunched at PALKI, celebrating a special friends birthday. What an exceptional experience! Delicious cuisine from North and South Indian menu from their vegetarian Thalis. Our waiter was super friendly but professional and served us as like royalty. Definitely wanting to return to PALKI again!

the service was absolutely horrendous, our waitress could barely speak english and when we asked to order she said “let me check the menus” and never came back to our table, after about 15 minutes we had to call the owner to our table to be our waiter.there were about 3 waiters and not one acknowledged us. the food was good but R17 for a small bottle of water is a bit shocking. Also at the end i had no small notes so i wanted change but they just took my bill and never returned with my change so i ended up spending R70 more than i should have. the food was the only redeeming quality.

Being our first time visiting PALKI,My family and I celebrated my son's 14 year Birthday party, the manager Nagesh welcomed us in a pleasant and professional manner, treating us like guests.The Chicken dishes we ordered was the most outstanding dinner we have eaten in a very long time, the food was prepared to perfection, delicious and satisfying.Well Done To The Chef and kitchen staff.Once again, to Nagesh thank you for your hospitality, service and most of all the love and care to my family.We wish you and your team all the best and success in the future.RegardsDenver James.

We recently hired out a section of the restaurant to host a small birthday party for my mum. The manager Ravi is a wonderful host and was extremely accommodating to us. The food is excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for events and even just to dine out.

Absolutely delicious, fresh Indian Cuisine served without the wait. Nice location. The waiter who served us, Ravi, was very kind and efficient. There are no flaws at this restaurant. I just wish their interior design was more Eastern to give us the authentic Indian feel that we would have loved to have. But, you haven't lived if you didn't try Indian cuisine from Palki's as yet. I will definitely visit often.

Very warm and friendly staff, food was extremely delicious and had a short to medium wait time. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for good if not great Indian food. Palki has a variety and selection of food in the menu. There is something for everyone and definitely worth the price.

Hubby was wishing for curry so since we were not at home, we decided to try out Palki. He ordered the lamb curry with Naan bread and I ordered the non-vegetarian thali. There's 2 types of non-vegetarian, North n South snd i chose North. The thali consisted of Lamb Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken with rice, Naan n a yoghurt salsa. Sitting across hubby, who was sipping on his chai tea, the spicy cardamom notes hit so well across the table. Desserts was Bombay Crush n gulaab jamun in syrup. The food was absolutely divinne and they have a great variety You could just sit and eat the naan on its own. They have a great selection of vegetarian meals too. Variety of curries, breyani, seafood and different types of bread. Definitely going back to try my favorite, lamb breyani. Good family restaurant or great place to catch up with friends. Warning, its so hard to choose, it's like you want to try everything on the menu.

PALKI RESTAURANT DURBAN
A friend gave a recommendation for me to dine at Palki. Ended up at the restaurant for lunch. There were a great variety of dishes from which to choose. I ordered the lamb roghan josh with rice. The flavors were wonderfully aromatic and the lamb cubes were soft and tasted delicious in the rich gravy.
