Hi! I'm SamI have been working for Urbanvest for 6 years, I started working in 2016 as access controller in Cedarberg building move to Shangri-la building and later to the Central building.In 2020 September i became a caretaker in Capricorn building until now.Why do you think we're the best property agent?-Urbanvest care much about the tenants than profit.What do I like about the work I do?-The job helps me to develop communication and management skills as I interact with tenants everyday.

Terrible place, especially when you acquire their storage units. They let your things get damaged and do nothing to help when you try contacting them. Such rude and ignorant staff too, especially the caretaker at The College

I stayed at Cederburg for a year. The service was fine and all was well until I moved out. I left the flat in good condition but for a loose drawer handle and a shelf of the wardrobe's screws falling out. My deposit came back missing R2000. When I inquired I was informed that it was used to repaint the flat. When I challenged the repainting to be maintenance issue one which fell under the normal wear and tear of the flat and was not my responsibility I did not get a response.

When you move in they act all nice but try to move out they will charge you for silly things you know nothing of just so they make sure you get nothing out of the deposit you supposed to get back l was so hurt but realised now that lm not the only one almost everyone expirienced this...moving in they never take pictures of inside furniture but outside then when you go they will open things they never open imagine deducting money cause a tissue holder is weak according to them, the walls having finger stain something that can be removed by a wipe right now almost 1500 removed for silly things. Just make sure you take pictures when you move in guys and keep as evidence cause even for existing stains you find there you will pay. When l gave notice and my month was not even over yet they would call even the inspector shouting me to come from wherever l am with the keys just so they advertise my place without me being officially out...Honest truth is they dont like paying back xem scrow down you will see every former tenant saying that

I've been a tenant for a while now at The President flats. At 1st glance you can tell the security is excellent, the place is very clean and the staff is very good. The building manager (Emmanuel) is very hands-on with matters pertaining to what goes on, he monitors everything and makes everyone's stay here pleasant. Having worked from home for now 6 months, I have never had to complain about noise or anything that's how orderly he keeps these flats.

will never recommend urbanvest properties to anyone, I stayed at 2 of their properties because of convenience, I wont lie their apartments are clean, modern and well maintained but when it's time to move out they show you their true colours, it's as if they don't care about their clients, just know that the deposit you pay is for them to repaint and make the room fresh and clean for the next tenant, they basically pay the maintenance team with your money and you won't get half of the deposit back, all ex-tenants can attest to this.

I wouldn’t recommend at all, highly disappointed to say the least. They are nice when you move in. Try moving out they will charge you for ridiculous things from 4K deposit to 600 refund how ? mind boggling. They use cheap paint so that when you leave they can repaint with your money . Would never recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Agents are very helpful. Felt like they knew exactly what I was looking for. Security is excellent and the facilities are great! I’m using the outside gym area so I don’t need a gym contract anymore - bonus! Definitely recommend them!

They're very nice only when moving in... Try moving out you'll see their true colors ,I did not get refunded my 3900 deposit. Charging ridiculous prices for everything , funny enough they say I'm the one who's owing them 300. I'll never recommend this property to my worst enemy. They are crooks... Imagine charging 3000 for repainting a Batchelor ?

I'm Justice Wisani Makamu staying in one of urbanvest property flat in Pretoria sunnyside:Capricon flat 205. After being with several properties since 2009 in pretoria sunnyside, i can say it in confidence that the day i signed a lease agreement with Urbanvest property it was an amazing experience because they are professional and pro efficient. I feel at home in their flats because they value the lives of their tenants more than anything, so they always go extra mile by ensuring that they engage and advise if tenants experience financial problems to keep up with rent than to bulldoze if you are owing that makes us their family. I highly recommend urbanvest property and i can refer anyone looking a place to stay because to me its clear that its not just a profit for them but our lives as they are so caring to assist anyone in their building to settle. I also like their turn around time when you reporta faults, they are quick to respond and their contracts are clear so no rip off.
