The hut is in a shockingly derelict state. Everything needs TLC. As a huge SA selling point, extremely disappointing. Although LED lighting and hot water from a solar-powered geyser is promised, none of this is actually in existence. The showers are in a shocking state of disrepair. The setting is uniquely beautiful, its only redeeming quality. As a trail frequently used by many locals as well as foreign hikers, Safcol/Komatiland need to urgently step up their game.
