Dr Kirsten is amazing! We were heartbroken to have put our thirteen and half year old girl down - at first we wanted to try everything possible to save her and Dr Kirsten did his very best to try alternatives all the while checking if we comfortable with the increasing bill. He truly felt our pain and his love for animals put our minds at ease that she was in good hands. Thank you Dr Kirsten for your compassion and care and allowing us to bring her brother to say goodbye to her and giving us the opportunity to spend as much time with her as we possibly could before saying goodbye.

Absolutely love this practice! Not only are the veterinarians experts, they are so lovely to deal with. The building is also clean and modern. It’s unfortunate the older receptionist is unpleasant, as the first point of contact- she drags the business down with her bad energy. Put her in the back somewhere. There is a younger receptionist who wears glasses who is always lovely.

Thank you Dr Houston, you are wonderful, and so is all the staff we interacted with. You saved little Abbey's (cat) life when it looked doubtful that she would pull through from a very bad case of poisoning (organophosphate - Roundup). Your immediate action, knowledge of what you were dealing with and how to treat it, kind care, explaining everything so clearly to us so we understood what was going on, making sure we knew the costs and if it was ok, giving another free check-up 2 days later when we were concerned about her recovery - the list goes on. Highly recommended.

I have been struggling to find a decent vet over the past couple of years. I have only visited once earlier the week. I was happy with the experience and the services that were offered.I found their pricing to be great! Highly recommend based on my first and only experience.

As first time pet owners we were very worried when our Labrador Puppy fell very ill. We took her to Strubens Valley and Dr. Rob was attending to her. The level of dedication, compassion and care that Dr. Rob put into taking care of our Pup and the advise and instructions he gave us for home care is certainly what pulled all of us through this. Excellent & caring service from Dr Kirsten. It was the 1st time Sasha had visited the practice. Dr Kirsten did a full & comprehensive examination. Sasha is back to her 60kg bouncing good health. The practice is clean, well maintained and all the staff dedicated to providing great/dedicated service. Highly recommended. They are also one of the few veterinary practices open on Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays

Strubens Valley Animal Hospital
The vet was really compassionate when caring for my cat and when she had to be put down. I could see my baby was treated with love and care right until the end.
