Dishonest, untrustworthy and over-priced. I've been to Kessel sea point before for convenience of being able to walk to the premises, but they made sure I will not be back. They charged R3980 for a major service, but used such poor-quality engine oil my vehicle was burning oil within 2 months of the service. At the time of collecting the vehicle, a new pair of cheap polarised sunglasses were missing and replaced with a dirty old pair, I should have made a case over the sunglasses, but they were inexpensive and decided to cut my losses. Theft has clearly happened before, management threatened to perform a lie detector test on all the staff...I am still waiting. My vehicle is 5 years old, never needed an oil top up before, but now it needed a top up each time I refuelled. I called the owner, she suggested I bring it the Cape Town branch and assured me her staff would have completed everything on the job card. But after the petty theft I had no trust in the mechanic or manager, so went to VW who suggested an oil consumption test to ensure nothing serious was wrong and replaced my oil for free with a high-quality oil. Lesson learned not to use a poor-quality car service company. I'm not one to complain, but this company is not trustworthy.

This is the most shocking company I have ever dealt with. Having had vehicles for over 20 years I have never had such bad and unprofessional service from roger at Kessel sea point. Sad that i live in sea point and cannot use their services ever again. plus i left 2 mesages for the owner to call me, well that didnt happen of course! This attempt of a legitimate response from the owner just reflects the lack of unprofessionalism and its clear where Roger gets his behaviour from!

Fantastic service I went there on two occasions and my car was ready to go.I’m impressed with the team I will definitely be going there again.Keep up the great service.

Used the car wash. Receptionist was brilliant and friendly, very welcoming. However the car inside was not washed well. I could wipe some marks away with my finger. Very disappointed with the car wash itself. Don't think I will be back. (These stars are for you lady at the front)

Possibly the best service I've experienced in a long time and not just for a motorcar service & repair shop. Ask for Roger, great banter and made sure I got the best deal on the parts for for my vehicle and only replaced what needs replacing saving me time and money. Highly recommend. I'll be back.

Im so glad to have found this little gem of a mechanic shop. I’m a returning customer since the new ownership of Kessel motors. My 1989 vw cabriolet is a classic collectors item, and therefore I’ve been to many mechanics over the last 10 years in Cape Town. The service is fantastic, work is great, fast and reasonable. Roger is such an asset to the company! Always great service , friendly and efficient. He deserves an employee of the year award. Thank you again.
