Peaceful tranquil setting just of Pietermaritzburg . From a spiritual side lord Krishna adored cows and a special sanctuary was created for the worship of the cow families get a chance to touch and feed these holy beasts . A small divine temple is for prayer and meditation. This against the clean air wafting from the distant mountains . An appointment is definitely needed to visit for catering purposes. A prayer shop is available with up to date spiritual books and incence one of my favorites to date

It's a beautiful place in the mountains. The temple and surrounding areas are well kept. The staff are friendly. The cows are a delight to feed. An all round good experience. A down side is that there isn't any dedicated parking areas or shade. It's quite unbearable when it's hot!

Great place to relax and meditate. Feed and interact with the cows. Order a sumptuous vegetarian meal, prepared on the spot. Bizley nature park and Tala game reserve close by. A wonderful place to spend a Sunday.

Been there most Sundays love feeding the cows ..it is a tranquil and peaceful place ..a cow shelter ..a small temple ..lots of hungry cows to feed
