Admittedly, it was against my will to bring my car here, but my husband insisted that they check out the timing belt on my VW.Turned out that it was a faulty computer box and I was told they would fit a refurbished box and I will be able to have my car back the next day.So far, so good....Tuesday rolled around and when I phoned at 10:40 to see what's going on with the car, I was told that they're still busy programming the new box it will be another half hour or so.Made arrangements to go fetch it at 12:00At 12:00 my husband was told it would be another hour before we could get the car back.At 14:20 I decide to go see what's going on, and LO AND BEHOLD, what do they tell me....'Ah, your car has a MAJOR water leak, the welch plug is broken/missing'Funny, because prior to the car being taken here I had an oil leak fixed and seals replaced and the mechanic warned that the computer box should be checked out at a later stage. Never mentioned a water leak....Also, in the three weeks I was driving the car, I've never had to worry about water or even having the car over-heat....And here we are, less than 24 hours of having my car by these people, it comes home with a MAJOR water leak.Hmmmmm, strange. But that's not all folks, all of a sudden the speedometer isn't working on my car, neither is the fuel gauge. I'm told the cluster is faulty. So, so strange, because according to their flyer they fix all sorts of problems, including CLUSTERS.My car was left there with a nasty ping and even though the ping is fixed, I get it back with other things broken.I have ONE question.HOW DOES THINGS BREAK ON A CAR IF IT LITERALLY STANDS STILL IN A WORKSHOP?JUST EXPLAIN THAT TO ME.Then I'm told, they won't be able to fix it, because the car needs to be hoisted up on a lift. But, they have a mechanic that would be able to help. So, off we go to this mechanic who's able to help.LO AND BEHOLD, this man works from home, yes, he works in the street right outside his house. No lift in sight....I'm not happy with the one star rating I'm giving you, it should actually be ZERO stars. You expect me to pay R1600 for a refurbished computer box, but you totally ****** up other stuff on my car.How do you justify the cost?People of Wellington and surrounding areas, please do me a favour and AVOID THIS PLACE.0/10**EDIT**As it turns out, we spent R1600 on having the VW's computer box removed, spray painted, a sticker put on and then put back in the car. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE.I drove my car to that workshop and had to get it towed away. They will STEAL your money and mess up your car.
