Sandawana Spa looks so impressive when you get there but when you book an appointment you do not expect to wait half an hour. There was no indication from the receptionist when I walked in 10 minutes early that there might be a delay. When I asked what was going on I was told that she had a problem with the client before me... No apology! Mitchell who did my nails was pleasant but the whole experience seemed rushed and the actual manicure part was non existent.

I like Sandawana because of their friendly and efficient service, ease of booking and rock bottom prices. If you are looking for luxury, this is not likely what you want, but if you want to relax in a clean and professional environment, give them a try. This is one of the few places we could afford to visit often and even book 90 minute massages without breaking the bank. Their gel manicurists were also very good, friendly and professional.

We arrived 5 minutes early and were asked to wait a few minutes. The entrance hall seems chaotic. Once inside the treatment room, the bright lights were left on for the duration of our supposed hour long facial. We paid for a 60 minute facial, however it started 10 minutes late as they still had to set up while we were lying on the beds. The therapists spoke throughout our treatment which ruined the ambience. No water was offered before or after our treatment. Unfortunately, the experience was very impersonal, unprofessional and not relaxing at all.

went in for a couples massage today , the ladies were absolutely delightful and the massages were lovely, however, the amount of noise was not okay..we could hear other customers personal conversations, business conversations, banging, doors slamming, the coffee machine from the front entrance, children running around.We unfortunately did not get the chance to even enjoy our massage as the noise was continuous throughout and very disturbing.. sadly we left the spa feeling more tense than when we went in.Doubtful we will recommend to anyone or return

Well priced on specials. Accommodating staff. Exceptional massage. 4 star rating due to location, feels more like an office block. Environment needs a bit of Oomph to lean towards a more natural setting.

The service was okay. The prices are affordable. However, I did leave feeling disappointed. The soak off of the acrylics nails took much longer than what is necessary, considering that other nail salons have moved away from acetone soak off and are using electric nail files, which is generally more gentle on the nails. I am typing this a week after the gel nail cover was applied, and the gel is starting to chip.....won't recommend doing nails here, however I cannot comment on the other treatments.

You get what you pay for. I went to get a full pedi & mani, with gel, 11 days ago. The gel on my fingernails is chipping and lifting. Normally, my gel fingers lasts 4 weeks with ease. I had a nail tech who seemed incredibly nervous and absolutely hacked my cuticles- they were throbbing when I left. The gel on my finger nails is also not consistent, its patchy and some nails are way thicker than others. I asked the nail tech how long she had been there, she said 3 years so I asked where she was before and she said here

The biggest one here for me is how cost effective they are. The experience is straight forward nothing fancy but you get a great massage and the price doesn't burn through your wallet
