Badskloof Trail
Easy path with great views. Lots of noises coming out the reeds as you walk through. Went all the way till we saw the springs and turned around, took about an hour and twenty minutes at an easy pace.

Great trail and the place to be for climbing. I wish they would maintain the trail better

Badskloof Trail
Awesome short trail to do, especially for an unfit person like me. Pretty flat and brilliant views. We started at Avalon Springs and just about 100 metres in you get a sudden silence, so peaceful. If you're into rock climbing there is also a spot or 2 for climbing. Definitely going to do this trail again when I am back at Avalon springs, I might even take the steps up to the cave.

Check the weather before you try this one. It was raining the day before and it turned a greater part of the trail into a sticky, muddy marsh. I attempted it from both ends but could only get about 1km in before the trail was washed out. It is nice and cool in the ravine but come with waterproof boots because even with the sandbags they placed down, you will get muddy.

Such an amazing trail. We only hiked as far as Vlermuis Waterfall. The trail is easy enough for novices and pretty clearly marked.Vlermuis Waterfall was great... the kids loved it.Our return trip took us up over the kopple towards Cogmans Trail, but we headed down towards Piet-se-pad and back to the caravan park.We walked almost 10km... and our 10 to 14 year old kids were fine with it.

A true outdoor lover's place to explore! Plenty of fauna to admire and magnificent rock formations all along this hiking trail. It gets extremely hot in summer and it's advisable to do this either before 6AM or later 'round 7PM to avoid the heat.

Parked and took a scramble up the rocky path to the gun turret on the top of Cogmanskloof. Our 3 year old managed up and down, which was great! Lively view from the top and quite clean, which was a pleasant surprise.
