Several months ago, I sought a special place to buy my embroidery supplies. None had convinced me until I found Mama's Wool and Habby in Plumstead. You will want to know why. I live in Rondebosch, but it was very easy to get there, thanks to Google Maps. In fact, thanks to this application, I found the store. Such rude and unkind staff. I popped in this morning to get some embroidery wool to redo my 4 year old daughter's hair wrap.I had my very small (adult) newly rescued dog with me, that I can easily carry. As I was about to ask a shop assistant to show me what colours they had, but I was rudely cut off and abruptly told dogs aren't allowed in the shop so I would need to leave or tie my dog up outside the shop! Thank goodness I didn't have my young daughter with me as they probably would have suggested I also tie her up to a pole outside as well.If they were concerned about my dog messing on their rather grubby carpet, they should have just requested politely that I carry her. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
