Gooderson Natal Spa Hot Springs & Leisure Resort

Wonderful place to relax and unwind.loads of activities for kids to stay occupied.Rooms are spacious neat and clean,nice big bathrooms as well (self catering chalets).staff were quite helpful and accomodating.the communal ablution facilities are really good with baths and showers.the pools are clean and well maintained.Only the road to the resort is quite bad,large watering holes for the roadside animals,besides that a lovely place to visit, definitely coming back.

It's more like a retirement area than a holiday resort. Music can't be played in chalets. The bar also u cannot play music. The facilities like slides closes at 4h00 which is sad for the resort residents who check in. The hot springs place was the only beneficial place. The zip line places are quiet expensive for such a small distance. The super tube is R80pp for an hour which is unacceptable as it should be included for residents. The rooms are falling apart and has a miff smell. The bedding were not clean and dirty.The food buffet was absolutely bland and tasted bad. No taste or salt and was looking sad on presentation.The bathrooms sink tops were rotting. This place serious needs maintenence and a new quote of paint.The staff was the only good thing about the place. They were pleasant and really helpful.Roads leading to the place was very bad. Lots of potholes & through some very isolated towns.

The location is absolutely breathtaking. Be prepared for crazy potholes on the way to the Resort. I'd advise to use Waze Instead of Maps as it will show the road hazards. The Resort is beautiful, food Devine and staff very kind. Like the rest of South Africa, the loadshedding is out of their hands but they tried to make our stay pleasant either way. The warm baths are amazing. We stayed at the hotel, very rustic decor and beautiful scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the surroundings were beautiful, I definitely recommend going to the restaurant at the hotel the food was really good. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves with all the activities. The only suggestion I would make is for the paintball equipment to be updated as some of the guns were not in working order, and the putt putt course was really fun just needs some tidying and maintenance. We would definitely book another stay in the near future.The chalets (Falcon 1-3) were neat, clean and very comfortable beds, definitely recommend.

Such a stunning place, went over Easter weekend, we booked a self serving chalet, absolutely massive, felt bigger than my own house. We arrived on Friday and were welcomed with open arms by the staff. There are plenty of activities to do, may it be horse riding, paintball, or even the super tube (these you do need to pay for however are not super expensive). The hot springs were honestly amazing, felt refreshing and not super busy nor noisy. Honestly the best place for a getaway.

Lovely resort. Amazing hot springs. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Affordable. Great service with quad biking team. Great chalet cleaning service. Lovely wellness center for massages. Friendly staff. Good maintenance around property and garden areas.Only negative thing I can say is that waitresses could be a bit more clued up on what's on the menu, but not a trainsmash.

It was our first time camping at Natal spa with the family. We enjoyed it to the fullest. So many fun activities for the kids and grownups to do. From lounging at the pools to riding horses and site seeing. We tried a few and had a blast. Friendly staff and pleasant experience.

We had an amazing time at Natal spa. We had the best experience with Zip lining. Simphiwe and Sibusiso was great. We were expecting a normal zip line from one side to the other but instead got so much more, from the background of the place to the stories of the San people. They were great in keeping us safe and telling us exactly what to do. I definitely recommend visiting these 2 guys as you will get a bigger and better understanding by the stories they tell and they are also your personal photographers as you enjoy the experience. The certificate of bravery is the cherry on top. Thank you guys for making it extra special.

I was quite impressed with the place it was gorgeous but I struggled with the service there was a lady named Sylvia who said why do I have to serve them" when we didn't ask her to serve us but she was rather angry and served us as if she was giving the food to a group of dogs on the street but other than that we thank thus beautiful place and it's wonderful activities"

Wonderful resort, especially enjoy it in winter. Always clean. Staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly, from the reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping, zip lining, spa right through to the ground keeping and maintenance staff.Road to get there is not the greatest, but not the worst we've traveled on in terms of potholes.Self catering unit was well maintained, we just had very noisy neighbors, drinking and partying until we eventually phoned reception in the early hours of the morning to have them silenced. This was done quickly and without any further disruptions.
