CampusKey 9th Avenue - Port Elizabeth

I wish zero stars was an option. These people are money hungry liars who will do anything to take your money. Wifi isn't free. You only get 2 gigs and then you will have to pay. What you pay for does not roll over into the next month. Their excuse is someone streamed HD porn and abused the free internet privileges. Forget about getting your security deposit back. They will charge you for the littlest speck on the wall. EVEN if you have cleaned your room. They WILL find something to charge you with. Be prepared to buy a $30 mattress cover that won't help at all. They will still charge you if there are marks on it from the previous person. When you are leaving this horrible place, they will make you check out on the same day you will have to catch your flight. The reason for this is so that you will have no choice but to sign off on the unfair charges they will rack up onto your name. If you do not agree witht he charges they will not let you leave the building. They will instead tell you to talk to someone in the office about it knowingly delaying you from your flight home. There are cockroaches all over the building. They will tell you that they treat the building every month but they will still be in your room. Even if you are the cleanest person. If you have visitors they will have to leave. No sleepovers. Forget about having a private life. But do not worry, NOT EVERYONE has to follow the rules. They pick and choose the people they punish.These people exploit and take advantage of foreign visitors. They will ask you if you want to buy an extremely overpriced package for a towel, bedsheets, and other small things. Please believe me when I say this place is not worth your money for the horrible management that comes along with it. I WISH someone would have told me these things before I stayed there. A very horrible and stressful experience. Do not trust their friendly demeanor.

Very poorly managed and no rules here are actually enforced. Constant noise issues, especially late at night until early in the morning.

Nice place for your child to stay during study

I had a fine experience. The people who working here are overall very friendly. The place itself is quite clean and gets cleaned regularly. There's order and structure. They make it easier to make friends and you're given security and privacy, maybe more than most of us are used to. Overall... Highly recommend. Cannot complain.P. S. Rooms are amazing. You have your own TV and bathroom(not sure if that's the case for everyone)

Generally nice accommodation but often problems with wifi, rooftop, laundry and gym amenities.
