Food was delicious. The staff were friendly. Waiting time (15 mins) was more than fair considering the fish and chips are cooked right there and then, ensuring you have a fresh hot meal.100% would return.

Had 1 or 2 meals with this place. Honestly, 1 meal was okay. The call was a terrible couldn't hear the other person and when we got there they had been training someone new who had no idea how to speak to clients. If you train someone make sure you are confident with how they can handle people at the till. Really upset didn't get the right order.

The best hake and chips I have had in Durban. The battered mushrooms were also excellent. Very reasonably priced as well.

Took a while to try this place as the entrance isn't too inviting. I have to admit the fish and chips really surprised me! Tasted good with no fishy taste at all. The chips were soft, just the way I like them. A little oily but it's deep-fried after all. Worth the try.

Very neat take away In Malvern offering fish and chips.The food is well priced and good value for money. Paid 275 for a family deal that came with 5 pieces of hake (medium) generous portion of chips and a coleslaw.The fish was fresh and I liked that it was not oily even though it was deep fried. You can choose if you want your fish fried or grilled. I also ordered calamari and garlic rolls. Garlic roll was average for the price. The chips were also average but I guess because they use real potatoes the quality can vary. Personally I prefer real potatoe chips over the processed types.I will definitely recommend this place for fish and chips. I hope the good standards can be maintained. Will be back for more.

Best fish and chips the owner of the shop was so friendly and very humble.. as for the fish and chips mussels and cauliflower was all done to perfection the star of the meal was the cauliflower best service and best fast fish and chips outlet

The platter was great. Battered prawn was one of the best ever. The batter on the fish was really good - nice and crispy. The only fault was the calamari rings were not really seasoned enough so they were a bit bland and the foody was a bit oily. However, this will be my new fish place for takeaway.

So nostalgic !!! Absolutely delicious !!! Definitely worth a try , and MOST DEFINITELY worth the rand !!!! Ordered hake & chip's , mussels & chips.The mussels were grilled and DELICIOUS , so much of flavor !!!!Tartare sauce was so creamy as well as the coleslaw. This is our favorite fish and chips joint
