Today: - 17th June 2018 ...Just a notice that they are closed for renovations and will be opening soon! Huh!!!....April 2018: - We just discovered something new here They now serve Wines & Beers! How awesome!!! .....This place always serves the freshest foods and is very inexpensive. Also Wimpy Cream-ii-Cappuccino's are the best and they serve an All Day Breakfast, you can sit inside or outside in a very spacious environment the vibe is always Good here at Grand West.....14th April 2017:- Back here again to enjoy a Good Friday B-fast!!! Always an awesome experience!!!.....TODAY: - 15th June 2017:...Once again back here to indulge in a Pre Youth Day B-fast: All there meals are very scrumptious and satisfying...We ordered Cream-ii Cappuccinos and the Executive which is two eggs, 3 rashers of bacon, boerii wors, salad and a full portion of good chips! A Scrambled egg, bacon & cheese Baguette and chips! And the Streek-ii Two eggs, 3 rashers of bacon, salad and chips!....Absolute-lii delicious and filling experience.........................July 2019! First time back at the renovated place...

I only had bad experiences at Wimpy as a child and haven't been back since. Today after being terribly disappointed at Spur upon arrival, my friend and I opted for Wimpy. I still explained my scepticism about getting good food, but was eager to give them another chance since its been yeeears and I've never been at the Grandwest Wimpy.Wow! Was I surprised! Vuyi's excellent service and the delicious food and presentation of it REALLY changed my mind for the better. Thank you Vuyi, Spur has lost a loyal supporter while Wimpy has gained one. Sufficient and friendly service is all it takes, but we received so much more at Wimpy Grandwest. Keep it up guys! Ps. I never review places so this was really an exception

16 December a public holiday...We detoured into Wimpy as the queue for the spur was exceptionally long, and we were hungry.Wimpy relatively empty...The cashier at the desk didn't see us after a while. I said, Excuse me and ask if we have to wait to be seated."We were escorted to a table.There are not many waiters around... Okay

Don’t think i’ll go there again. Me and my girlfriend went there because all other places had long lines.Waiter took us to our table and from there the waiting game started.We waited about 15min for a menuWe waited 30min for our order to be taken.When the food arrived after another 30 min it was not what we were expecting,-food was cold.-poor customer service-just don’t feel like a wimpyWon’t go there again!

Myself and my friends were at wimpy grandwest , when my friend tasted that her burger is burned . I told the waiter , he then advised he will speak to the manager . The manager came .no smile nothing and just told us she will replace the pattie . And on top of that the waiter did not give us proper service as he only came to get our order and the rest of the day we didn't see him. Poor service . The other waiter came to check up on their customers but ours didn't even care about us .

Horrible and horrific experience. Still gave a tip to the poor waiter but pathetic service. Waited so long for my food at our table it's not even funny. They got the order wrong a multitude of times and didn't even bring my extra veggies that I ordered. The worst of everything is there wasn't even a lot of people in the restaurant and we still had to wait and wait. I am really disgusted in the service and they definitely should be repercussions. The place looks like a dump.

Worst dining experience ever. Waited for almost 30 mins before we were attended to. The food was mediocre...I ordered my steak medium and received it well done. My lamb chop had a foul taste to it. My drink was served in a chipped glass. We were only given 1 serviette each, we ended up using our own tissues. Waiter did not even come around to check up on us...terrible service...will never do Wimpy again.

I havent been to a Wimpy in a while. The food has defenitly gone back wards.My 6 year old did not want to eat his cheese burger. I had a taste. That bun was old and very dry.Service was acceptable.

Unacceptable, we have been waiting for an hour for our breakfast here. The service is downright horrible and I am dissapointed. We waited for 10 minutes before receiving a menu when the entire restaurant was basically empty. Manager is unprofessional and keeps making excuses for her excuse of a staff team. Date of visit is 21/12/2022 time is 11:00 to 12:00 am
