Family Pet Centre - Pet Shop Fourways

The staff where really kind and very helpful. This pet store has it all, Even a crocodile!!! Definitely would recommend this store to any and everyone.

Absolutely love this pet shop.Kyle the manager is amazing and honestly so helpful!We started a fish tank last year in April and he has helped us from choosing fish, helping test water etc etc!Love this pet shop and reasonably good pricing

Yesterday I got the healthiest, sweetest of hamsters. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend this place.

Staff friendly, helpful, and know their products. I needed some advice on dog clippers and they went to call the dog groomer and the lady I honestly believed gave me the best advice... This is however a challenging field as not all pet stores do sell proper Clippers for large breeds... So the guidance we're much appreciated

On Monday I purchased two fish and came to the realization that both fish were lethargic and had no appetite and with no surprise i phoned multiple times to notify them that the fish were sick and possibly the fish with them aswell just for the phone to be put down on me or it just rings. I am completely disappointed at the work ethic. Unfortunately one of them had infected my two other fish who i have had for months then succumbed to the sickness. Both the fish I purchased on Monday were in separate tanks and had different illnesses, So in conclusion because of the sick fish they sold me, I lost all my fish .

Had a little turn off when I purchased hamster food end of July 2020, however, upon 2 days after the purchase, I saw that the food had expired 4 months ago.I was immediately assisted with a solution and a sincere apology from the branch in Fourways. Tanya (or however you spell it) was so competent and extremely humble. She knew her products and pets REALLY well and she was so friendly to me. She updated me on all the products on the shelf and gave me so much assurance that I had to change my attitude towards the pet store and its reputation.Thank you for resolving the complaint I made Family Pet Centre!I'm so pleased with my hamsters, they're too adorable, thank you once again for giving me the opportunity to have them in my care xx

Great petshop for all your needs. Nice range for all pets. Staff needs to be more knowledgeable on their products and species - especially in the aquarium section. Prices are mid-high.

I always buy my fish there and think people looking for fish,birds,reptiles must buy at FAMILY PET CENTRE

One of the most disgusting groomers to exist.Destroyed my pups nails, needing an emergency visit to the vet. Pulled the entire nail off and failed to let me know. Only found out once I arrived at home and noticed him limping.Called their vet before closing time and mentioned what happened to be told that their vet is leaving (they were closing in an hour)I asked for a manager to call me the day after, which didn't happen. Called in the next day, somehow still no manager on duty. But they said the manager would call me the next day. This looped for 2 or 3 days. Finally my wife got hold of the manager and they tried to pull the pity card and got the groomer to read from a script apologizing on behalf of the grooming team.DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES HERE!

After our Scottish Terrier had the absolute worst grooming experience of his life at another groomer - we had a wonderful experience yesterday at Family Pet Centre. He was groomed exactly as we asked and he looked so proud of his hair cut. Thank you so much for your friendly staff and awesome care for our fur babies. We will definitely be back.
