Glen Acres Estate

I recently bought an apartment here and the worst decision of my life. The service is absolutely horrible. I’ve had issues with my apartment, balcony wall peeling off, the flooring in the unit above mine is bad quality affecting noise levels in my apartment. I have tried to seek assistance from the estate manager but no success at all.

Very high crime rate (Inside a secure estate" mind you)

Units seem to be built with cheap materials, taps aren’t steady, bathrooms smell because of poor drainage system, mould on walls and very poor security.Management of this complex very subpar, do yourself a favour and rent or invest elsewhere.

I don’t recommend staying here, there’s a huge risk of your vehicle being stolen as mine was stolen during the night while I was sleeping and no one bothered to inform me till I discovered for myself while on my way to work. The security was aware of the matter though but failed to notify me which lead to my vehicle not being able to be recovered. It makes you suspect that the security may allegedly be working with criminal syndicates. Further the units are built with cheap materials, especially the taps are forever leaking, tiles have cracks, and the wooden flooring in the bedrooms will give you issues after just a few months. There is no play area and a lifestyle centre with a pool. If you plan on living here ensure that your insurance is up to date.

Great and peaceful place to stay. Security is an issue due to it being a new estate, and still being completed. Once completed could be one of the best in Midrand. Traffic in and out is low. Easy commute to Gautrain station and plenty potential for rentals. Estate is very big, they might need to install a play area once complete. I’ve lived here for four years, had my own seducing issues in the early days but once I settled it has become much better. Security upgrades on the way as well. Neighbouring is very tranquil. If you’re looking for a good park estate I would recommend.

Whoever in charge needs to rethink of access process because the traffic when visiting this area is unecesary unless the objective is to turn the visitors away.....but if se have a code, let us be able to punch it on the pad and we go through.Its important when we implement a process we test the effectiveness of the process before implementation.

Dangerous area especially to drive during the night it's risk

Worst place to stay at crime within the complex cars stolen and Break ins. Not worth your money walls are cracking and cheap materials used to build the place.

Units are built with cheap materials, especially the taps, forever dripping/ leaking, tiles have bubbles or cracked etc, poor drainage system, poor security, no play area/ pool as yet as they are still building, building has actually been rather slow.I believe things may improve when building is complete but as for the cheap finishes, be prepared to replace a few things.The area in general is quite nice and tranquil which is one of the reasons I purchased but I am rather a bit disappointed with a few things. Hoping that things improve.
