I travel from PMB to Howick every day to train here.Whether its fitness, health and wellness or you just want to lift heavy, this is truly a hidden gem.Situated in the undercover parking so its not in the way of the shoppers and not as overcrowded as the other household branded gyms.The owner is always around with a wealth of knowledge regarding anything fitness related.Visit the gym and find out about the different, yet extremely affordable, payment options.

This is by far the best gym in the midlands. It has an outstanding vibe, friendly staff and updated workout equipment. After gym hopping, i have found them to be the most affordable gym in the midlands.

This is a fantastic gym!! All the trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you’re at. It has the best energy, staff and feel. I highly recommend Gym and Fitness Merrivale.

Excellent, gym facility! Loaded with the latest gym equipment, as well as sufficient free weights. It's an absolute pleasure making the drive from Pietermaritzburg to Merrivale. Once you step into the gym, the atmosphere gets your mind focused for a great workout experience. A gym that must be visited if you're from out of town.Well done to Deshin Naidoo for getting this gym up to a standard that's really difficult to match around here.Keep it up and God bless.
