Stopped in to check out handpans on our trip through South Africa. The guys at the store we're really accommodating and a lot of fun :-)One of the owner's of Pan Inc (here in Port Elizabeth) made a special trip to meet us. She gave us a demo and lots of great information which was hugely appreciated!Great experience. Great store. Spending weeks of research on the perfect guitar amplifier, I wanted to invest in something that would last me well into the future with the proper care. TEMPO MUSIK assisted me with the order of over R10 000.00 and said that it would be delivered the following week. I had asked if they could keep the amplifier for me as I was leaving for France the following 2 days and would only return 2 months later after which I would pick up my new prized possession. (Purchased Jan 7th 2020)Once home (March 3rd 2020) I collected the amplifier and took it home noticing that the box was already open. I used the amplifier during lockdown and went back overseas June 2021 until November. March 14th of this year I discovered that my amplifier was no longer working and decided to take it into Lee Gold's music store as the amplifier was no longer under warranty. Lee assisted me by changing out the fuse to see if that was the cause of the issue. When that didn't solve the problem it was booked in at a fee of R200 via Lee who in turn sent it to their electrician. Lee informed me that I would be contacted the same week to let me know. On April 4th after not hearing from Lee Gold for 3 weeks I decided to go in and enquire as to A) what the issue was with my amplifier and B) why no one had called me in 3 weeks after I was told that I would be called the same week I booked it in?The response was that they were extremely busy and that my amplifier was still not diagnosed with the exact problem. April 5th I received word from Lee that my amplifier was checked by the electrician who informed us that THE AMP WAS NOT NEW AND HAD BEEN WORKED ON PREVIOUSLY WITH PARTS EVEN BEING REPLACED!!!!! (have written evidence) I immediately informed TEMPO MUSIK asking how it was possible that I purchased a new amplifier only to be told that it was not new. If an item is purchased brand new and is under warranty, why would anyone open the product to make sure its brand new? (This would void the warranty....)TEMPO MUSIK said they would contact the supplier of the item to see if it had been previously worked on. Lee Gold then contacted TEMPO MUSIK without me knowing and provided them with pictures from the electrician. When I went to pick my amplifier from Lee I had asked why he had contacted TEMPO MUSIK without my knowledge. His reply was that it was a courtesy call." Funny thing
