I’m still dreaming about this food weeks later!After seeing fufu and soup trending all over social media we really wanted to try it and it did not disappoint.We ordered the fufu with okra soup and the light soup. The okra was a bit too spicy for us white people but the light soup was honestly the most delicious thing I have ever tasted! And the fufu perfectly balances it out as an eating tool. It’s fun to be able to eat with your hands as well.We also had the beef stew and Jollof rice after reading reviews and these people aren’t lying when they said the jollof rice is to die for!It was hard not to stuff myself as I just couldn’t get enough of this food! If I lived in Perth I’d be making this a frequent place however as I live out of town I will have to eat here every trip.The people there were nice too, wish I could give this place 6 stars!

Jollof rice was mushy and dry - not sure if its overnight rice. Flavour is full on with mix of spice and sour. It's fresh on my palette. Beef was chewy and tough, unfortunately.

I absolutely love the food here. I’ve been twice now and I can’t wait to go again. It taste so homemade. I crave the texture of fufu and the rice is soo jealous. The staff are also lovely.

Our first time having tried West African cuisine, was open to the experience. We had 3 dishes. The customer service was informing, welcomed and friendly the 2 ladies were great and we felt comfortable. We ended up getting take away dish cause we were full but much enjoyed. Very happy.

Our first time ordering from Aseda Jeegs and it did not dissappoint and the owner is lovely. Whooo we ordered the Egusi soup with plantain fufu, fried fish with jollof rice and plantain, bunku with Okra soup and fried chicken with chilli sauce. My family really enjoyed the food and now have big bellies lol go and try its worth it. We will be back.

Just had lunch there, it was incredible!We got the egusi with pounded yam, plantain fufu and jollof rice with beef stew. Literally so delicious. There's a sitting area upstairs and a little sink to wash your hands.The customer service was way better than 95% of restaurants in Perth and everyone was so helpful and kind. I really appreciated their patience and welcoming attitude. Food came pretty quickly too which is a bonus.The portion sizes are very reasonable but we still couldn't finish as it's so filling. But that was okay since they offer takeaway boxes too.Very family friendly place, just be mindful if you want to take a pram as the only way up is by the stairs.All in all, I totally recommend Aseda Jeegs to everyone and anyone. My favourite dish was the Jollof and I think it's gonna be my go to dish :))

The food was amazing!! I had a hard time finding the exact location but once I did I was invited by the aroma, definitely not disappointed at all. The jolof rice was authentic, cassava leaf mesmerising and I was amazed by the beef stew, words can’t explain the taste, only one way to find out, head to Aseda jeegs.

The service and food was terrible. On their instagram post they recommended if you want vegetarian you should get the Bean stew and Fufu. When I went there she refused to sell it to me because it doesn't go well together. Why recommend it in the first place. I ended up getting the lite pepper soup and fufu. The wait was half an hour before my fufu arrived to my table and by the time the soup arrived my fufu was cold and the texture wasn't right. And then I find the lite pepper soup to be BITTER, there was way to much pepper used. The soup tasted like they threw water, pepper, & goat bones in a pot and called it a day. There was so flavour at all. Thankfully I grew up eating Fufu and I know how yummy and delicious it is but if it was someone who has never tried it before I swear they would never want to eat it again.
