Lake Chrissie Lodge

Furniture was very old and outdated and the unit was dirty, Staff were unfriendly, Bathroom rails fell off when we touched it. No water pressure and the toilet did not flush. They didn't even leave a little dishwashing soap/a little milk for us so when we arrived later in the evening there was NOTHING to eat/drink as all the shops were closed too. To top it off the place smells like mold, and caused terrible allergies. Won't recommend it or stay there again.

We had a beautiful dinner 1-course only, but well done. We were 3 couples in our group and the management waited to serve us fresh made food as we were late. There is a new waiter, very helpful and considerate.There's still no water pressure. The room all in all was not to our liking. We won't sleep there again.

Good food, had a great Sunday buffet dinner. We received 5 star Service with friendly company. Friendly animals accompanied us while walking through the garden. Nice Sunday dinner, would definitely go back!

It is a place for functions.Though it's at a road side,it is so quiet.it is very beautiful outside in.good parking for cars.at a junction to ermelo, Carolina and Swaziland

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. The accommodation however was inadequate. Mattresses were old, towel rail came loose from wall, and the bath was dirty.The lodge offers excellent location, and will do much better with a desperately needed revamp. Breakfast was good.

Our stay was just amazing! Like home away from home. We could hide away from the hussle of the city, yet we could still get all our work done during the day.The hospitality of the staff were great and everyone were extremely accommodating to all our requirements.Lake Chrissie is not the warmest place during winter, but the people and nature makes it worth your while.The little town looks like a scene from an old movie with all amenities one should need.For anything more than the basics, you will find it in the lovely little town called Carolina, about 30km away.We had a great escape! Thank you

Beautiful, Nature is just wonderful, places around the lake is affordable, and different varieties to see.

This was the worst stay ever!! Old dusty musty rooms, old bedding, the worst bathroom and shower ever, dirty! Book anywhere but here!
