I am most disappointed. My cuticles were cut totally off, causing swelling. Two weeks later still swollen. The owner says its normal practice. I am horrified.(if cuttingyour cuticle off that it is scabbing is normal, I am shocked) Total waste of money, I wont be back. I had to spend on an anti bacterial cream as well. I had no choice but to go to a different salon, who has a gentler approach. Sorbet Tygervalley is excellent, I thought they would all follow the same expertise. Clearly not!

Wanted to buy a voucher but when I walked in the lady at the counter was disinterested, did not greet me, after I greeted her she said just said yes rudely. Did not ask how she can assist me and generally unfriendly. I understand it is not nice to work on a public holiday, but we all have to do it. Needless to say I did not buy the voucher as I did not think my mom in law would enjoy the unprofessional srvice.

I did gelish nails at entrance 7 on Friday, when I got home one nail was cracked went to fix on Monday for R50... I don't like changing salon but I don't think I will be going back, the quality is very poor

My appointment was at 9am on Wednesday 28 December 2022. Upon arrival the receptionist told me that the beautician with whom I was booked with was running late and should be in at any moment. The beautician never arrived. The receptionist tried to get a beautician from the other Sorbet Store in Canal Walk to assist me with my appointment - I ended up waiting 30 minutes before someone arrived. I got discounted 50% of my treatments (the receptionist wanted to discount the treatment 100%, however, I did not feel comfortable with this). I have been to Sorbet Canal Walk many times as I have always had a good experience, however, I will make sure to go to a Sorbet that is closer to my home and not make an appointment at their opening time.

Emmerice provided me with a full body Swedish massage and her technique was flawless. Was better then any massage I've had, even top day spas. Started with a back and neck, but 10 minutes later I upgraded to a full body.I highly recommend her specifically if you have a neck hump ( dowages hump). She is the first therapist that knew how to massage it.

Didn't go here to use the services, just to buy a gift voucher. The lady at the front was friendly, and the process was smooth. I will say that this branch is rather small. It looks like there is only space for 4 active customers and 2 waiting seats.

I appreciate getting a booking at the last minute. I thought I'd take a chance while I was at the mall. I walked into a staff 'meeting' in the shop, which, proved rather noisy and unpleasant while I was having my treatment. The therapist appeared to be in a rush and was out of the room most of the time. The removal of the tint was decidedly rough, especially for an eye treatment. Staff were friendly and helpful as I came and went, but I won't return.
