Cape Town Fish Market Langebaan
Let's start with something positive, the chilly poppers were really good. The restaurant was not busy, lots of open tables. We waited over 20 minutes just for over drinks (bottled water, a beer, a glass of wine and a milkshake). The food took very very long (we were warned that the sushi would take long, so that is acceptable). The rice of the sushi was not right (I didn't eat it myself, but those that did all said it wasn't good at all and feel apart)The rest of the food was ok to good. This was not the first time that we've had bad service here.

Horrible food, tasteless and not great service. Garlic roll served, that was stale and felt like eating a week old supermarket roll that was just warmed up.Calamari that was greasy , in fact just an all round terrible experience. Waiter doesn't come around to ask how the food is. Only came after we had already asked someone else to clear our table. And this was not at their busy times , there were only about 8 tables with customers. I sensed that there was no manager on duty. I was highly dissapointed and will probably not return here again. I will rather buy take away from fish aways as the food is at least fresh and tasty. Oh and before I forget, who brings wine glasses that have just been rinsed, still full of water droplets inside and out???. Catch a wake up guys, you need serious improvement if you want returning customers

The food was divine, located in a really well & fitting location. The atmosphere was lovely and so is the decor of the place. A wall depicting the fishermen of years past is a lovely admiration, that adds texture to the restaurant. The service is efficient and the staff are nice too.

Staff amazing, lovely setting next to the Marina, a bit of a family vibe since it’s in a resort. Mussels were nice but sauce tasted like it’s straight out of a packet. Sole and Calamari combo was good. I won’t rush back there though.

This was our third visit to CTFM , we found the food adequate. However I had the exact same dishes 3 times in a row on every visit and consistency in food preparation was not apparent. I had the False bay platter, of 3 time only once were the seafood cooked properly, both other time the seafood were completely overcooked and tough especially the prawns.Other than that it is a nice place to enjoy a meal.if you don't mind paying the high prices. I will visit them again just for the atmosphere and view, but hope they get it right, in the food department. Hopefully the food goes from adequate to exceptional, especially at those prices.I do recomend visiting them, however choosing your food wisely would be my advice.

For my birthday lunch yesterday we visited Cape Town Fish Market at Club Mykonos in LangebaanNow I have seen my mixed reviews about CTFM branches in Cape Town but this was really a great experience.Ordered some sushi for the table which was fresh. The seafood in all of the mains dishes were fresh and delicious and perfectly cooked. My 17 year old could have a poke bowl (cos apparently that's what teenagers eat) and there was a really nice play centre for my 7 year old.Excellent service, food and view made it an all round great experience.
