They never come at the agreed date or time and the owner never calls back when important stuff need to be discussed. Only after I threaten not to pay the remaining 50% they turned up to finish the job. It is absolute essential to supervise the job yourself to ensure the work is done properly. We had a blockage is our indoor pool piping and the owner suggested to start digging up the pipe under the foundation of the house before doing some proper trouble shooting. When I asked his workers to reverse the flow we could see all the debris coming out of the suction piping of the pool. This debris was actually the tile parts etc that his workers spilled in the drain during the tiling because they did not cover the drain during the work. The end result is ok but took much longer as needed and took me a lot of time to supervise. So be prepared if you consider doing business with them.

Had a terrible experience dealing with Island Pools for past 3 weeks. The tradesman are never on time, and incompetent at their work. The Owner hardly ever takes your calls after you have made payment, and when he does, he is rude and always blaming the customer...0/5 star service.Never again!

STAY FAR AWAY!If i could give Dave and his team ZERO stars, I would. He has scammed my old and retired parents in Knysna, and stole their money with a lot of promises - but since October, it's been more and more excuses, after 40k going missing - and his workers only showed up once!It has been more harassment and lack of delivery from him - and we really don't know how he is still operating a business in Knysna. Advise every local to stay away from this guy and IslandPools, they are a scam and a joke.

Nightmare. Do not use island pools to construct or maintain your pool, ever. They don’t arrive at the times arranged , when they do get to site eventually the team makes numerous mistakes. When you point it out to the owner he gets upset.....my latest interaction with them almost ended up in a mosaic installed incorrectly and then fibreglassed into the bottom of the pool. I had to point out the mistakes to them!! Island pools is a complete mess do not use this “company”.
