Kleinmond Harbour

We stopped here to 'take a look' and left in awe. There's several picnic spots and a large parking area to just sit and enjoy the views. The public bathrooms were neat, which was nice to see. We decided to have a 'snack' at Vannie Hoek, the local fish shop. I must say that in my life, I have never tasted such fresh and exceptional fish and chips. The yellow tail was out of this world. And we got to enjoy this meal sitting in a little fishing boat, which serves as your table and chairs. How engenious! I am definitely putting this little diamond on our list of places to go back to. Beautiful little Harbor worth while visiting.

This is such a lovely picturesque place. It is worth to walk around and visit the stores and drink a milkshKe. We enjoyed the owner of the shop who was not traditionally from there but loved staying there. There is all sorts of litlle things to buy to memorise the experience. We bought a scarf as a gift. Lovely stop indeed.

Great place to watch the waves and boats coming in.

Op die Stoep coffee place must jack themselves up. Scones-Rock hard luckily we only bought one to share. Coffee an Red Cappuccino was good. Had to complain. Will go back and try again. Often go there. Sitting outside was lovely even in the wind. Took our baby Toffee with.

Nice little harbor for launching small boats. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and a reasonably good selection of craft shops.It's well worth the visit if you are in the area and looking for something different or just for a meal

It's the start of the Kleinmond hiking trail which meanders along the rocky coast on well trodden foot paths. The area is clean with beautiful wide views of sea, rocks and mountains. Returning to the Harbour you must visit the ice cream shop. It's worth walking for.

There are so many stunning shops selling beautiful clothing, memorabilia, food, there are bookshops, art shops, ice cream shops, a shop selling honey and everything that can possibly be made from honey and so much mor!Then there’s the natural beauty of the water where fishing boats depart and arrive via a slipway. People will park and relax in their cars just enjoying the beauty of the scenic views.There is a bit of lawn where kids plays while their parents relaxes on blankets on the ground, creating a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere.There is even a place selling ice cream overlooking the water, who has boats outside that serves as seating. An unusual idea but obviously people loves it.If you feel like spending the entire day at the harbour, there is no shortage of things to do as it is surrounded by so many shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Neat place to relax without any stress. You can get close to the water without the issue of sand and excellent setting for some cool pics. Somewhat lacking in infrastructure, but perhaps that's why people come here in the first place
