The Container House
Very friendly people working here. Wifi is available. We stayed overnight in a stand alone room. Ideal for people who likes fishing. Not expensive at all. Tea and coffee available in room.

Very good experience. The owners of the property is running 2 very similar sites focusing of usage of the riverbank for fishing which is causing unnecessary conflict.The facilities was well kept. Dustbins was not cleaned regularly i.e. Before our visit

Would be a great place for a bachelors if the owner was not so rude. Told to keep things down at 3pm in the afternoon when its advertised as a bachelors venue.Never refunded my breakage deposit despite nothing being broken and the place left spotless. Would not recommend it to anyone looking to be treated with an ounce of respect.

Tranquil weekend overshadowed by unreasonable, rude owner.Refused to refund the breakage deposit because we “stole an oven pan and scissors (later withdrawn) allowed paw prints on a duvet (one might expect in a pet-friendly establishment on a riverbank), a matrass was seriously dirtied when a toddler wet their bed (maybe invest in matrass protectors) and we only paid R150 for cleaning services for the Saturday and not Sunday too when we exited (you should make sure visitors fully comprehend this arrangement NOT followed by any other guesthouse in the world).The promised refund after a lenghty discussion is yet to happen.I’ve never been insulted like this in my life. I hope you treat your other guests better.

Great place for a family gatheringI am just very upset that I have still not received my breakage deposit of R500 back. I have contacted the owner Gavin who ensured me it will be paid back soon. More than a month later still no payment

We celebrated my daughter's 21st at The Container House. What an awesome experience!!!! The youngsters played volley ball, table tennis, ball games, canoeing and did some fishing in between. There was enough space for everbody. Gavin, great place and real value for money. Thank you, really much appreciated.

Nice quiet breakaway place to just chill next to the river . Thankyou Gavin !! Our third year in a row , we will definitely be there again next year !!
