Noupoort Christian Care Centre

My brother spent 2 dreadful years in this hell hole. He was more damaged here than anywhere else. He is now still addicted and with many emotional scars. DON'T send your addicted love one to this place. It is NOT worth it. I could tell you some stories that will make the hairs on your back stand up. This place should be closed down. I wish my brother had gone to Healing wings instead, they have a better success rate and don't use corporal punishment, or let addicts get attached to animals, only to have them slaughter them a little while later. INHUMANE PLACE that hides behind 'Christianity' to justify their shocking treatment plan. People who know God don't do what these people do. May South Africa be done a favour, and all addicts be done a favour - close this god forsaken place DOWN!!!!!

I was at this facility in 1998. It is the best of its kind in the world. It saved my life and lead me to the Lord Jesus Christ. Through his grace and mercy I was healed and saved. If you have a love one with an addiction problem this is the only place to send them.

All my thanx to Noupoort if it wasn't for Noupoort I would not be alive today, and best of all that is where I have found God, without Him I would not have made it, and certainly not out here. I would highly recommend Noupoort it is not the nicest place but its not suppose to be nice. It is the only rehab I believe can work for any tipe of addiction, if you want it to work.

After hearing the events at this centre, I would never even send my worst enemy here. I am absolutely disgusted. Christian care centre? WOW. Anything but humane it you ask me.

Physical treatment programme I was locked in a 3x3m concrete square above a walk in freezer that is set to -20°. Was allowed shorts and a Tshirt. Lol I'm not even joking I poated this before but it was removed that was because I did not stop smoking cigarettes when they wanted me to. You are physically forced to stop smoking cigarettes

I know people who went here who got chained to the wall. Very abusive and illegal.

Furtherest thing from a Christian care centre and rehab

I was there the 18 months 18 years ago. Tough place. I did not like it there.BUT the place worked for me and my family are very grateful. Nothing better than boot camp to sort out naughty people!

We are forever grateful to Noupoort. My son spent 9 months there and 2 years later he's doing so well. Hardest yet best decision we made

A loved one who attended this monstrosity has been left with emotional scars which affect him even years later. NEVER GO HERE!!! This place need to be closed down!!!! This place isn't Christian... It aspires to be like hell.
