A bunch crooks the branch manager sales manager and estate agent has crooked us and is now avoiding our calls

I let the Estate Agent know before the property registration that the roof was leaking. Instead of making sure it was resolved they continued to push registration through to get commission. That is really poor business ethics.

If you want anxiety and stress you should try getting help from these guys... such nonsense, not worth the stress, I'm better off... but if I was looking for property I WOULDN'T do it through these people ESPECIALLY in Capetown... THE ABSOLUTE WORST RENTAL PROCESS EVER.

Such a frustrating and unpleasant experience with this rental group. Our estate agent was lazy, uncommunicative and disrespectful. She would schedule inspections or viewings for new tenants less than 20 minutes before they were due, would not respond to emails/messages and did not even appear at our exit interview. She never once apologized for her behavior.At least once she scheduled viewings with new tenants a) without telling us and b) without pitching at all, meaning we were forced to show these poor strangers around our flat which we had not even prepped for a viewing. Will never do business with them/her again, was a horrible experience.

Have had it hard applying for a lease.Bad communication regarding organising a property viewing and going on further to receiving the application form.Agent late for the viewing and doesn't answer phone calls or messages.Just poor communication throughout the whole process and have seen many similar complaints over the agency and the agents.Not impressed over the service of such a big real estate agency but in the end sorted out my lease.

The agent I had reached out to is David Eastman, I enquired about purchasing an apartment in Rondebosch and he ignored. Eventually got assisted by another company in making the purchase. Would not recommend dealing with this agent at all.

An agent from Rawson managed to get my wife's personal number and sent her an unsolicited whatsapp inviting herself to do a valuation of our property. We didn't ask to be contacted. I don't appreciate unsolicited sales messages at 08:00 am on a Friday morning from someone I don't know. How did they even get our details? Surely that's a contravention of POPI. Typical predatory estate agents, though. If we do sell our house, we will make a point of NOT using Rawson due to this, and other, unethical business practices. AVOID

Really not keen on this companyI wanted to rent out a place in town,I explained my situation to the Agent, Deborah Davis,And she said she’d send me an application form,But then she didn’t,I took that as a sign that she wasn’t interested in me applying for the place,And then she invites me toview the place a week later,I really liked the place,The landlord and I had a long conversation about the place and she seemed like she liked me,The agent said we’ll be in contact,I asked the agent to send me an application form again,And she completely ghosted me.either she’s incompetent at her job that she can’t even send an application form,Or she’s playing favourites with one of the other applicants and not giving people interested in the place a fair chance.

We were tenants with Rawson for 2 years. In that time, the property had numerous issues. At one point, we had to sleep downstairs for three weeks because of maintenance delays (note that we should have pressed them to put us into another property during this period - please don't bend over backwards for property agents).We did our best to be get on with things, but the conclusion of our tenancy has been appalling. All I can say is - prepare to fork out R1,400 for cleaning when you leave, because they'll take that either way. A general note for any tenant - don't go out of your way and be accommodate issues with your rental property. Rawson clearly don't vet the properties before adding them to their portfolio. I was shown around an apartment when we were due to move - the property was filthy, and the agent couldn't answer basic questions about repairs or whether it had a functioning internet connection.It goes without saying that we won't use them again. But please ensure you err on the side of caution. If the rental property you're in has significant maintenance issues (spanning over 2-3 days), they need to provide you with alternative accommodation. Also request they provide you with a thorough ingoing report - we made this mistake as well.
