Carlton Hair Cavendish

Carlton Hair is not a trusted salon from my experience. I had the most horrible experience at Carlton Cavendish even though the Senior stylist, Expert and Manager worked on my hair. I gave them specific instructions of what I wanted but they completely messed up the style and colour and damaged my hair thoroughly in the process. I had long and healthy hair and I am now having to spend a fortune to try and fix the mess they did. I spent almost 13 hours in that salon on 2 consecutive weekends for them to fix it but the damage was done and they were incapable and incompetent to do the job right. Please, avoid - not to be trusted, totally useless and utterly disappointing.

I was horrified at the hair cut I got done here. It was uneven, one side was longer than the other and there were long pieces randomly sticking out. When I had my hair fixed else where the hair dresser was shocked and thought I had tried to cut my hair myself.

My booking (which I confirmed twice) was not in the system, however they were kind enough to give me an appointment an hour later. After waiting for that time to come, the lady who was doing my hair appeared to not be listening, as I specifically asked her not to use an iron and yet it was the first thing she did after the wash. The prices are insane, and most of the hairdressers are inexperienced.

One of the worst haircuts I’ve had in a very long time. The stylist rushed the haircut. My hair looks more untidy than it looked before the haircut. Will need to go elsewhere to fix it.

I got my hair cut and coloured yesterday by Saeed ( I apologise if the spelling is incorrect) and I am super super impressed at the level of service and execution! He was super hospitable and offered me a coffee, they unfortunately didn't have any milk alternatives but offered to run to the Woolworths to get me one!He was extremely gentle and paid such great attention to detail. I am absolutely OBSESSED with my hair and how it looks!I highly recommend, a massive thank you!

Very disappointing. Went for a hair cut & blowdry, stylist just cut straight across, which is honestly something I could have done at home. During the cut I had to ask her to show me how much she was cutting as she didn’t once ask if I was happy, when I asked if she could take off another inch she proceeded to ignore the request and carried on at the same length. Will not be returning.

1st experience, I was recommended so I was really disappointed. Staff don't smile and are not friendly. I forgot my daughter's reading book there and when I went back it was gone. They suppose to offer you a beverage that didn't happen either. They stylist could have done a much better job with her hair. It was puffy even after the ghd. My daughter does her own hair better. Not impressed at all.

Always such a treat visiting Carlton to get my hair done. Best service, best hair treatment quality & best hairdressers! Not only can you get your hair cut & styled, I have my nails done & a bit of waxing too with each visit. Worth every penny!

Generally enjoy my time at the establishment. Staff are always friendly and professional. It just gets very full on Saturdays but I suppose a testament to the good service!

Great experience with Sam at the Cavendish branch, the best cut and blow dry I've had so far!
