McDonald's Upington Drive-Thru
If you are in a hurry, best to visit outside of peak times. Food was good but had to wait longer than expected. The venue was clean and neat. You can sit upstairs under air conditioning or outside by the plat area.

Good day, I drove in at drive through at Upington Macdonalds to order 2 coffee and 2 doughnuts. I waited 25 minutes. Coffee was cold and one cup only half full when I arrived at work, which is only down the road from Macdonalds. This is also not the first time I had a bad experience there. Sorry Macdonalds Upington, you will not see me again.

They dont share much info regardin their variety of food nor sittings they dont serve u have to collect them urself as we where 8 and thought they would serve but instead said they dont serve clients

This is the slowest drive thru in history. Today 8May 2023 I waited for 30 min to get served. Damm what is going on Upington.

They don’t even deserve a one star, if I could I would have rated their service in a minus! There is absolutely no service, everytime I go there the experience is worse. They ignore you and treat you like they are doing you a huge favour to do their job. They are rude and has no work ethic. They will definitely never see me again. If this poor service continues, they can kiss their jobs goodbye. I hope management will act quick otherwise the doors will be closing soon!!!! Worst take-away place in Upington.

I'm really really disappointed and really not with the service I got today, FrstIy ordered 3 Oreo chocolate Mcflurries only to find out it was a wrong order I was given since I already paid I took them, Than after I came back to try get what I really wanted I even ordered an extra topping to rectify, I ordered once more one Oreo Mcflurry with an extra topping it was worse I was even given my order in an unfriendly manner and again o wrong order I feel sad and heart broken.

I suggest you adjust your operating hours .It clearly states you open at 06h00 hrs . When i arrived at 06h15 to have breakfast and spend an hour on my email communication i was told only the drive thru is open .Second point i would expect your staff to rotate the Menu's in the drive thru so you can actually see the menu for breakfast .The first menu does not rotate through 360 degrees so no chance of viewing a breakfast menu .Only after i had placed my order with assistance from the staff member and i moved to pay did i notice that the second menu can fully rotate and could see the breakfast menu .Then a 20 min wait for my food .I understand you have just openend up and everything must get going , but thats a bit long .Would have made no difference if i was seated and doing emails .So now i am standing in the nice icy weather in the Parking bay at Kalahari mall doing emails on my cars Bootlid and having Breakfast .Not ideal but the joys of working on the road .

McDonald's Upington Drive-Thru
This was the last straw for me regarding Mcdonalds Upington. Firstly my burger had a thumb shaped hole pressed right through and to top it off they didn't place my whole order in the bag. Found out at home 50km away.The fries are old and stale, the lettuce is wilted. The restaurant is absolutely pathetic.
