Your personal appearance is something that we all pride and it is quite sensitive to ask someone to assist you with something as personal as hair loss.I am writing this review 13 months after my operation with Dr Lohlun, so that should give you a good idea as to what you can expect (it takes 12 months after the operation to see full results).First off, my results were great (and Dr Lohlun managed my expectations every step of the way and never over promised and delivered on what we intended to achieve) and I get complimented a lot on my hair.But apart from that, what I really loved about her was her bedside manners, her willingness to always be contacted when I had questions or concerns and follow-up consultations I had after the operation.Do not read reviews from people who did not commit to this process or the procedures as they will always be biased. It is like someone reviewing a car without having bought one.I honestly feel Dr Lohlun is an expert in her field and I would recommend anyone worried about hair loss to go see her and her team. I am very happy with my results and here is an image I took of my hair today to showcase it.

Super professional business: The lady doctor I spoke to was very knowledgeable, the practice itself is aesthetically pleasing and the procedure room looks like a mini theatre. I have not had a treatment yet, but if/when I decide to go ahead, this would be my first choice.

Dr Lohlun is kind and professional. She is highly skilled in hair technology and has a really great team at her practice. I have recommended her to anyone who has hair loss concerns.

Best decision of my life!Walking into the office, I was extremely nervous, but once I was greeted by a very friendly staff, my mind was already put at ease quite a bit. Dr. Lohlun helped ease my mind further, promising to take things slow and steady as to make the whole experience a lot more comfortable for me. Before I knew it, I was laying in the chair having the procedure performed with absolutely no pain or discomfort at all. A lot of people already explained that the procedure shouldn’t hurt, however I didn’t expect there to be no pain at all. The procedure took 6 hours and 30 minutes, however, it felt no longer than a visit to the dentist to me. Even after the procedure, I felt no pain and swelling has been kept to a minimum. As someone who's been struggling with self-esteem and self-image, I would definitely recommend the Hairfront because these people know what they’re doing, and they do it extremely well, especially Dr. Lohlun. I cannot thank them enough and can't wait to see the final results in 9 months.

Im writing this review a few days after getting my FUE with the Hairfront team and let me tell you: if you are thinking of getting this done this is the BEST place in Cape Town for it. The team are professionals through and through from start to finish. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you again Dr Lohlun and team!

It’s worrying how misleading the reviews of this place is, which really makes me wonder about their integrity. I did not have a good experience but I am going to remain as objective as possible, merely stating what happened to me and how I was treated.The R600 in person consultation fee is NOT refundable with ANY treatment (which did seem too good to be true initially) as stated on their website, over the phone and emails, because they don’t consider Finasteride or Minoxodil as treatment, so just be aware of this. The day of my consultation the doctor also said that I can either get the pills from them or take the script to a pharmacy and get the medication there - the cost is basically the same - another untrue statement on their behalf. The Finasteride is about R175 at Dischem, and the Minoxodi about R179. Both of these products were charged R300 separately.Leaving that aside, this establishment has bigger problems than their misleading the average consumer. Their website’s design and layout is unattractive and difficult to navigate by today’s standards, and the doctor has no bedside manner - the information she provided is scripted and didn’t provide anything I couldn’t find online beforehand. Here you are just another customer.When my first two months of treatment was nearing its completion and I had to get a new set of pills, the secretary informed me that it would be another R300 for the script. And that was it.I am not merely complaining without offering tips on how to improve: I decided to cut my losses and move over to andbam. I suggest all future clients, people who read this review and this place go check out their website and overall experience if you want insight on how to provide a personalised, legitimate and thorough experience without hidden costs or being mislead.
