They remember me and my consistent order of five roses tea. Once they even made a heart on top with frothy milk, a world first! Good quality and value, wonderful to visit after a surf or walk. Highly recommended.

Morning coffee with a warm, friendly welcome.The classic short Americano is good; it arrives with healthy crema and a rich aroma. It has solid body and just the right finish.After a few times, I risked a cortado and was pleasantly surprised. The cortado is up there with the best I've had anywhere in the world.The team is pet friendly and there's always a clean bowl of fresh water for the canines.There's also smoothies, juices, vegan ice-cream, milkshakes, muffins and brownies for those with a sweet tooth.If you're in this part of Durban, it's well worth a visit.

Selections UmdlotiI visited Selections for the first time yesterday morning to grab a great cup of coffee, our TV crew has been frequenting this place for the last 2 weeks or so, unfortunately I wasn't afforded the same experience as them. There was no service from the young lady behind the till. She ignored me couldn't be bothered about greeting, taking an order, she didn't utter a word, maybe she doesn't like serving brown bearded people, who knows...thanks to the barrister, she took my order and could see how I was treated, your staff at the till point didn't even make eye contact or ask how I'm paying.Disgusting service, great coffee and great setting.P.S. Beach Shack Sloti actually made me feel welcome like any other customer!

WONDERFUL SPOT TO HANG OUT AND ENJOY A GREAT COFFEE! This is exactly the little coffee shop that the Umdloti Center needed! It's on the ground level, so you don't need to walk upstairs and if you've come back from the beach or a cycle, you can drop off your gear at the table outside, (or inside if it's windy), people watch and bask in the Umdloti vibe. It's becoming a great place for the locals to either hang out at and catch up on the local news and/or drop in for a coffee to go" on the way to work. The parking is typically easy and accessible
