Kabelo's dance Academy

I started dancing as an avenue for stress relief little did I know that Kabelo would make it the highlight of my week….. it’s the space where I learn, have fun get some exercise and am able to purely just enjoy ! Kabelo has patience and took someone like myself who didn’t know the first thing about dancing and cultivated a love for dancing !!! I would recommend Kabelo dance academy to anyone and everyone !!!!

Kabelo is an incredibly nurturing and patient teacher, with so much of knowledge to share! He is absolutely gifted in the way that he is able to break techniques down and explain clearly and simply, all while ensuring that I feel relaxed and comfortable. Learning to dance with Kabelo has been the highlight of my year; it has been such a fun and rewarding journey! My partner and I had 2 weeks before our wedding and almost no time to think but we knew we needed to look like we could dance,Kabelo was amazing in transforming us with our 4 left feet, his commitment to making us look good on the day paid off. My husband and I organised dance lessons with Kabelo, for our first dance for our wedding. Neither of us had either danced at all in our lives and both had two left feet. We met Kabelo at a venue, and after a free 10 min lesson, he had us dancing :) We arranged 4 one hour lessons, it was daunting, but by the end of the 4th hour, we had a perfectly choreographed dance, designed specifically for us, by Kabelo, and we knew all the steps. Kabelo was very patient with us and made learning to dance so much fun, that we are considering keeping on with dance lessons through him. Thank you Kabelo for making our first dance for special (and for keeping the hubby off my toes)

So we had about 4 weeks to learn our dance for our big day and we were extremely worried. We did 4 lessons with Kabelo and the experience was amazing. Technical: his ability was amazing and he broke up the dance routine in a way that made it easy to absorb. Character: very friendly and patient with us, which enhanced the overall experience. I was looking for a fun group class to join where I could learn some dancing moves, meet new people and have fun. I was pleasantly surprised at my first lesson, it was so much more fun than I anticipated. I learnt a lot about myself in the lesson and I was grateful for the patience of the instructor. Kabelo was patient and broke down the steps so we could all follow easily . The group class are fun because we all learn together, and even though we all come from different backgrounds and lives, the dancing bonds us. We learn from Kabelo, each other and have a blast! Awesome dance instructor who's very knowledgeable in his craft. He's technically sound and a great teacher.I've learned so much, not only from a dance point of view but I've also learned to step out of my shell and be more confident. Which is a lesson I'll take with me for life.
